Update: Welcome Change In Indian Beauty Industry

Well what an awesome way to welcome 2012. 
Saw the Lush box Advertisement on facebook and signed up immediately as it said *free* samples every month. ;) well there was no further information,so forgot about it soon. 
Some hours later i read about another site in Mehak & Tanveer's blog.Checked out the site ASAP and i feel it is genuine.

It claims to have collaborated with few High end brands and the package would contain 4-5 trial products. Now the catch is *trial* size implements "travel size" or just "sachets"....Hmm will never find out without the risk right!!! Yes,i signed up for the 700/- per month's subscription. :angel  with the COD option. So no loss if i don't receive them. ;) I did receive the mail confirming my order.Keeping my fingers crossed. :)

Price: 199/- INR for 15 ml. i got it for 179/- from HERE

Its mostly available in two shades. Fair & Medium. I've got medium with me.But i can tell you from my experience that the shade does not matter much.The texture is so thin that it will blend in nicely. I'll suggest you go for the medium one unless you are blindingly fair. :angel

Best before: 3 yrs from the date of manufacturing.

Lacto Calamine Lotion

Well in this post i am going to talk about the must have skincare product for me since the last 2 years.

Now the story behind this.....well I used to have normal clear skin till i was 25.Once i shifted my base to Mumbai my skin started behaving.Suddenly i was getting pimples on my face.I ignored them and they would come and go with time. My roomie suggested Lacto Calamine to me. I already knew about it but somehow never liked the dryness it caused in my "then" normal skin.So i got this green small bottle with Aloe moisture for dry to normal skin and started using it.To tell you the truth i hated it.So discontinued as usual.It did not break me out or anything.Its just that i did not like the feel of my skin with it on.
6 months later.....

Today i'll be reviewing the shower gel from Avon naturals "Milk & Honey" range.

I had some idea about Avon color cosmetics before joining but absolutely none about their bath n body or skincare products.Since winter was setting in i ordered mostly from the Milk & Honey range which claims to be the thing for Winter care as per Avon.I've been using it since a month and now it's time for the review. :)

Jordana Blush in 15 Terra Cotta: swatch,Review & FOTD

Hey gals.
Thought i should share the newest addiction & addition to my blush stash ;) Its Jordana "Terra Cotta".

Price: MRP: 229/- Got it for 195/- from Beauty Centre Kandivali ;)

My Experience:
As the name suggests....its a beautiful brick shade with a coral tint. Very apt for Indian skin tones,this will just give you a flushed look without being OTT. 

Swatch...

The texture is very fine.not at all powdery or chalky.It is highly pigmented but just the right amount hard also , so going overboard with this is difficult unless you deliberately want that. :P i really like this feature in blushes because i am new to them and obviously wouldn't want to look like a clown. :/

Natural light!!!!

Quality wise i find them really nice.Texture, pigmentation, staying power, everything is up to the mark.It lasts the whole day on me. :) What else can i ask for in a blush that too which comes in just 200 bucks ;) This was my first buy from Jordana & i am definitely going to pick more shades.

Tips n Tricks: EOTD for small eyes"To make them look bigger"

Ok .This one is for people with small eyes,who find it difficult to highlight them with liners and kajal because it makes them look even smaller.

I thought i should do a post about it and came up with this. 

I know i look scary bt my eyes are certainly not as big in person  as they look here. :P 

Organic Surge Moisture Boost Shampoo

okay girls.if you've read all my earlier posts you must be aware of my hair type and woes. :P For the rest of you all let me introduce you to my hair.

Color: brownish black

Texture: soft to touch,rough to look at :/

Type: wavy to curly...depending on the mood. :/ (yes, seriously!!! they are the moodiest bunch of mane I've ever seen )

Chemical exposure: Yes!! Rebonded thrice in 2 years.

Current condition: 3/4th of normal hair with 1/4th of re-bonded left overs :P

Problems: Very Very Dry,Frizzy,dull hair with a little bit of hair fall too :f ...errr damaged in short 8| 

If you still have any doubt just refer any of the FOTDs for clarification :P

So i've been trying hard to find and settle with the shampoo that would minimize my problems and this is just a new entrant to the ever increasing list of....hmmm never mind!! 8|

This is actually a pleasant surprise that i am talking about. This month's Avon flyer has some really nice discounts and when i spotted the glazewear intense glosses for only Rs 149/- i ordered for the most pigmented of them all. Then i checked for some reviews and got to know how good they are so i just ordered a back up too. :P yes i am mad that ways. But m so glad i did that.
