My Experience:
This is the richest cleanser I’ve ever tried on me. It is so thick and rich that i was afraid it will break me out, but thankfully nothing of that sort happened.
It comes in a green pouch and muslin clothes for polishing.Very travel friendly and easy to locate for some one as careless as i am. 😐 I don’t have to search for the cloth while using it.I wash it and keep it back in the pouch only once its dry.
The bottle comes with a pump dispenser and works perfectly fine.I require one pump for my face and neck. For somebody with dry skin you may require 2 pumps.

The cleanser is very thick and white.Almost like boro plus (If i remember the texture correctly!!! God its been ages since I’ve seen Boro plus anywhere 😛 ).
due to it’s thick texture, It needs a little bit of pressure initially but after one stroke kind of melts and spreads nicely.
with a minute of massage it gets absorbed but leaves behind a greasy shine. I know its a cleanser but i am talking about the time when you are at home and not using it as a makeup remover. It acts as a good massage cream that way too, especially in winters.Of course you will have to wash your face afterwards. Somehow i don’t like the creamy cleanser concept for makeup removal. i feel all the makeup is going to get deeper inside my skin if i massage it with some cream before removing. :/ I know it sounds weird but i am like that . 😛 I remove my makeup with a makeup remover and then use this for the final cleanup act.
You can see how the light reflects on the skin because of the slight greasiness. This is when the muslin cloth comes in handy. I follow the instruction and get some warm water and deep it inside and then just wipe my face with it.
let’s have a close look at the cloth.

The cloth texture is superb for exfoliation i feel. It is 100% cotton and Yeah Made In India!!! he he something strikes a note there right! 😉 It removes the greasiness and makeup beautifully and yes mildly exfoliates too. the only thing i feel is you really have to wash it after each use or the cloth may get messy. I don’t mind it, but some of us can find this a bit tedious. But then i feel we can use cotton balls too. It won’t be as effective but will do fine if we proceed with washing our face again. 😉
I have to admit, it cleans thoroughly. You have the squeaky clean feel after using this and skin feels moisturised and refreshed. It has a very strong badi elaichi (Cardamom) smell.Couldn’t find it in the ingredients though! It could be something else too. I remember my organic surge shampoo also has a similar kind of smell so may be it is the chamomile oil, which is common in both! 8)
Though this cleans and moisturises nicely, i still feel it is meant for dry skin only and there is high chance of break out if you have oily or sensitive skin. I have combination skin and i use it only before my bed time as i feel the richness may be a problem for day time use. I also don’t think it will be suitable for summer use. I am enjoying it in the winters and would like to keep it that way only. For those with dry skin, you should definitely try it in winters.Am sure you skin will love this.
Pros:
1. Cleans effectively and thoroughly.
2. Effective as a makeup remover too.
3. Makes skin soft and supple with each use as it is very moisturising.
4. Lots of natural ingredients.
5. The cloth cleans and exfoliates simultaneously.
6. Very rich in texture,so a boon for dry skin beauties and also for the rest of us in winters. 😉
7. The pouch makes it easy to carry the pump and cloth together without any hassle. Can also be used as a makeup pouch once the product gets over. 😉
Cons:
1. Again the richness. 😐 Am sure if i use it in summers I’ll definitely have break outs. The same feeling keeps coming when i am using it every night. It is that rich. :/ I so hope they come up with a light version for year round use.I mean in such humid weather like India, we can not use it any time except for winters. 🙁
2. Expensive with the shipping charges included.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 (-1 for the super rich feel which is not a good thing for my combination skin)
My Recommendation: For me its a very good cleanser /massage cream for winters. If you have dry skin then sure,go ahead and get one. You will not regret.A special recommendation for North Indians too. 😉 I am not sure how it will perform in humid Indian summer. Will definitely update this post once i try it this summer. 🙂
Hope this helped.
luv
jyo 🙂
