Vedic Line+ BB Cream

Hey gals! I am back finally.Missed you a lot….
Was not keeping well for the past few days. Thanks to food poisoning : | How are you guys doing.Hope everybody is good and in perfect health. 🙂
I wanted to do this review last week only, so without wasting anymore time lets just check out this all Indian BB cream that has entered the market recently.
Price: MRP: INR 250/- for 30 ml
Available HERE  for INR 225/-

What it Claims:

Unlike the Maybelline BB Cream, this does not claim much to do in skin care department. I like this fact that they are marketing it for what it is and not as a skin care cum makeup cream.A BB cream is supposed to be more of a skin care thing though!!! : /
However i will not hold that against it as it clearly mentions its use as a base/foundation only.
Ingredients:
I am really happy that an Indian brand came up with a formula that is free of so many harmful chemicals. I guess its time more brands pay attention to this aspect too.

My Experience:
If you have gone through this Haul Post then you must be aware how i got this. just by fluke. 😛 Saw it in the website and had no idea when this was launched…..so placed the order just out of curiosity.
Am not super impressed with the quality but yeah at this price i can’t complain much.
the packaging is really nice.i like the girly pink tube.I just wish the plastic was of better quality 😛 You know can’t really stop comparing it to the maybelline packaging thats girly too but way more classy than this.
The nozzle controls the amount in a good way. the consistency of the cream is actually very thin…not anything like the thicker Maybelline. Its somewhere between runny and creamy and this makes it really easy to spread on the skin even without a moisturizer beneath.

There is a single shade that has got launched and its actually not a problem coz the coverage is not much and it does not leave any white cast behind.

It has got a faint flowery smell which i kind of like. I know its not visible in the pic but the tint is more on the pinker side than yellow.

What i do not like about this is the blending part.May be they heard us complaining about the maybelline BB cream’s blending problem and made it in such way that it will spread easily..but i must say they took it to another level altogether with this.the thing is when you spread it… you just keep on spreading and spreading and it keeps on moving on your skin without getting absorbed . : / I mean are we supposed to massage it for a good 2 minute for it to get absorbed!!! Not a good idea when you are in hurry. So if you are new to this cream then take a really small amount to start with. Spread it nicely and then check if you need more.
The less you use the better finish you will get as it tends to give a dewy finish. Can’t say about dry skinned beauties.you may need more but still be careful the first time is all i can say.
The coverage is sheer to medium. Not anything to conceal your flaws but yeah it does even out

the skin tone nicely. I definitely need a compact over it or it turns greasy in 2-3 hrs. May be its a good one for the winters and launched at the wrong time only. 😛
My Rating: 3.6 out of 5
My Recommendation: Would say its a decent product that comes for a decent price. Has sunscreen SPF 20, is free of harmful chemicals, moisturizes decently and evens out the skin tone giving sheer to medium coverage. If i compare it to the maybelline BB cream then the later definitely scores over this. While that is suitable for people with combination to oily skin, this is definitely formulated keeping in mind the dry skin. Will save some for the winters and check how it fares….not getting another one anytime soon. 😉

Hope this was helpful.
luv
jyo 🙂
