Its been long that i reviewed any lipsticks in this space so here we go. Am gonna review one of the best sellers from the Avon Extralasting Range of lipsticks. Its called "Totally Twig".Initially i got this for my mother who liked it a lot but then this time when i was ther at my home town she swapped it with my UCR "Wineberry" . According to her it was too pink for her and wineberry had the perfect tinge of pink for her age. Whatever that means :P
Price: MRP is INR 375/- for 2 gms but easily available for around 250/- on discount every few month.

When i got this for my mother i had to give this a try and oh boy i was sold the first time i put this on! The color was nothing close to what it looks like on the catalogue but i loved how it brightened up my face.
It looks like a Rosy brown on the tube and on the swatch as well but on my lips it looks more pink with barely there brown.

Can you see any brown!!! i cannot except for a hint in the pic without flash.
Not that i am complaining. I absolutely love this shade and would recommend it to people who need a moisturizing longstay lipstick. The price is steep if you compare the quantity you are getting but then we never finish off out lipsticks.Do we???? So doesn't really matter.
I do not have anything against this lipstick except for the fact that its transferable. It would have been the perfect lipstick with that problem taken care of but never mind.

My Recommendation: Yeah,why not! This lipstick comes under one of the best ranges from Avon.if you have dry lips and find the matte lipsticks too drying, you should definitely give this a try. They have some wearable browns in the range too. These last upto 5 hrs easily with meals and leave a uniform tint behind without drying the lips. What else do you need in a lipstick. It has SPF too. ;) but a word of caution for some of the shades.i have got "Always Rose" from the same collection.While the feel is exactly same, it has got a frosty finish. :/ If you do not like frosty finishes then google for swatches before placing your order. :)

My mom has pigmented lips but still it manages to look even more pink tending towards red on her.If You have pigmented lips then not to worry.this covers the pigmentation well on a single swipe. the formula is moisturising and glides like butter on the lips yet it stays for long! Now that's a killer combination. Nondrying and long staying. ;) I love how it sets into a semi matte finish. <3
