Now most of you requested to review the lipstick first from the Viviana hamper i received for review purpose.I have been using most of them now a days and i must tell you, most of the products are really amazing and frankly i never expected them to be so good except for the 2 products that i am not too fond of. One among these is the lipstick sadly.

The shade i am reviewing is "Trend junkie" . Now that name is really funky and anybody would expect a really fun shade that is in trend ;) Isn't it!!!
Lets have a look at the lipstick bullet!
Well the shade is not funky to me but yes it is a nice shade for those who like dark plum/purples.I am actually liking the shade more in these pictures than in real. Camera somehow was not picking up the obvious blue sheen it has.but if you look at this close up below, you will be able to see the blue swirls it has.
No doubt that looks quite nice on the bullet but on the lips. : | it looks like a duocrome lipstick. No i swear it has that duochrome effect that we all love on out eyes but on the lips.....That is definitely not me. :/
I wish the shade was sans those blue duo-chrome sheen...or atleast close to what it looks like on the swatch. :(
Isn't it a gorgeous shade.i am loving the swatcxh so much but sadly it doesnot look so beautiful on lips. The blue particles kind of settle down on the fine lines while giving that disco-ball shine to your lips.

Now if you leave the duochrome sheen then it is a decent lipstick for the price it comes for. Stays for around 4-5 hrs easily.Amazingly pigmented as well. All the swatches are of a single swipe.So if you have pigmented lips then you will love these.The texture is creamy and it glides easily on the lips.However it is highly transferable.So you need to kiss a tissue before you head on for a coffee.
Here are some lip swatches with application being full intensity and with a gloss! (Apparently my failed attempt at hiding the blue-purple sheen :P )
If you take a look at the 2nd swatch closely, you can see the sheen on my upperlip. Imagine full lips with that kind of dhinchak sheen. :P
Then i tried it on as a tint by dabbing a tissue paper.While the shade still looked pretty but i could se blue particles on my fine lines and it was still looking un-natural.Then i did what i will always do if i am going to wear this by any chance. .... I wiped my lips with a tissue and added some gloss and tada! thats the best i can come up with this lipstick.
While i loved the formula i will not recommend this same shade to anybody except for those who like to experiment a lot with their makeup.May be teenagers can still make it work in a disco. ;)
My Rating: 3 out of 5 ( only and only for the formula.) -2 because of the duochrome finish that makes it impossible for me to make use of it in any which way. :'(
My Recommendation: Not this shade for sure! I would have loved any shade with the formula they have but not with the sheen. So while you should definitely check out this range, do not forget to check the shade before hand or you may end up with something like this. :P
