Deborah Milano Red Lipstick-10 "Coral Lace": Swatch & Review

 Review by Ritika

Hi everybody, today I am going to share one of my favourite lipcolour from my all time favourite brand DEBORAH MILANO!!! I always keep on looking for there new launches and when Milano Red lipsticks were launched, then I planned to buy 5 lip shades.I had bought 3 shades some time back and now Coral Lace is a new addition (coral/peach being my favourite colour.i had to buy this!!!!).

The new MILANORED lipstick boasts a ground breaking formula that imparts intense colour, absolute comfort and hydration for up to 10 hours*. Contains colour- and shine- enhancing Ruby dust, MILANORED leaves lips with a gorgeously gleaming finish. The formula also includes a Hyaluronic Acid based “filler” that leaves lips softer and visibly “replumped”. As well, the formula contains a blend of natural waxes derived from Jojoba, Mimosa and Sunflower to nourish lips and ensure that the product glides on easily. SPF15 protects the lips from the sun’s harsh rays. With its delicate violet scent, MILANORED by Deborah Milano is hypoallergenic**.

Formulated to minimise the risk of allergy.**.

*Instrumental testing conducted on 30 women.

How To Use:  The lipstick can be applied directly with the stick; if you want to apply it more precisely, use a brush.

Price: Rs.650/-.

Available in 16 shades.

Packaging: The lipstick is enclosed in a golden coloured asymmetrical shaped case and the cap closes conveniently ensuring no breakage as well as being travel-friendly.The top of the cap has the shade number as well as the name and the lower end of the lipstick has the shade name, number, additional information that it has SPF 15. Deborah signature is engraved very beautifully on the lipstick.

Colour And Texture: The shade Coral Lace can be best described as a pinky peach(more pink) with a slight sheen that provides a glossy effect on lips. The texture is smooth, creamy and buttery and it bleeds a little bit too. Since the colour is light, so 2 swipes are needed to get full, opaque coverage for medium pigmented lips otherwise one swipe provides a very soft shade. It doesn’t have any shimmer in it.

Staying Power: It stays for about 2.5-3 hours without any meal or drink and for about 2 hours with a meal.

Now moving to the pros and cons:

1) Packaging and the colour selection is very nice.

2) The texture is smooth and creamy.

3) It has SPF 15 so some benefit for the lips too.

4) Presence of healthy ingredients: Jojoba, Mimosa and Sunflower.

5) It is travel friendly and sturdy.

1) Availability is an issue as online shops don’t have all the shades and there counters are only located in selected cities.

2) Price is slightly on the steeper side.

3)The shade bleeds a bit.

4) No mention of names on the website, only shade number is provided.

*Please note that the Deborah site has not provided any names nor does any store in India but I have seen their names on some international blogs that’s why I am able to provide it.

My Rating: 3.5/5

Recommendation: I would recommend trying this shade to very fair girls and those with pink undertones as it is on a cooler side and can wash out certain skin tones.Perfect pinky-peach for the summers. If you want to have some fun packaging in your makeup stash then I would suggest you to try some lipshades and eyeshadow quads from Deborah Milano. It provides quality products at great prices.

Hope you enjoyed reading this review…have fun!!!!!
