Lotus Herbals WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub

What is your favorite skin care product? Not in terms of brand. Am asking about the product that you enjoy using the most!!! For me it has to be face packs, scrub and  massage cream in that order.By now u are aware how much i love face packs.So today i want to let you know about my love for facial scrubs.The product in question today is Lotus Herbals WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub. The usual scrub that i mostly use is a homemade one.Will share the details soon. its pretty easy and need just 5 mins to be prepared. Incase you are wondering why i picked this up... let me tell you. I get bored pretty quickly. I was using that homemade scrub for a year continuously and was bored at the sight of it.So the next time i was at H & G, i picked this up cause i love lotus as a skin care brand and know it will not harm my skin even if its not that good. :)

I love this,starting from the classy packaging to the scrub itself. The white and silver packaging with the logo looks really nice.I wish lotus gives this much attention to the packaging of all its range.For a change this does not have a flip cap but a nozzle as the opening and it avoids spillage of any kind unlike the other products.

When I read the ingredient list i was like ok.This has "yogurt".I must tell you I had read a lot of reviews on this and still i was amazed at the texture of it. :) It actually felt like yogurt and i still have doubt if something as natural as this is possible to last that long without the help of chemicals. But may be thats the reason for the paraben list it has. :/  

The texture is thick exactly like that of yogurt and there are fine scrub granules distributed evenly.it spreads easily.Because of the texture it can be used as a face pack as well. What i do is keep it for 5 mins on my face before scrubbing it off with water. this way the ingredients get more time to work on my skin and it adds a subtle glow to my face too.

Even though the granules are fine and very small in size they are not mild.So if you have sensitive skin,please stay away. However i love my scrubs to be a little grainy.So this works fine for me.
I have been using it for the past 4 months regularly and while i can say it helps with blackheads and keeps skin soft and supple,I haven't really noticed any brightening effect. It does make your face look all clean and fresh with a glow. This is suitable for all skin types and can be used in all weathers.t does not dry the skin but it is always recommended to use a good moisturiser after you scrub off the dead skins.

My Recommendation: Yeah Sure! This is the only product i have used from the whiteglow range and i love it.Next, I want to try the Yogurt Radiance Mask that it has mentioned to follow after the scrub.This is definitely a good buy and if you are bored with the apricot scrubs out there in the market...Give it a try!
