MAC Retro Matte Lipstick "Ruby Woo":Swatch,Review And FOTD

Finally I am reviewing this lipstick almost after 5 months. :/ Thank you for being patient with my lazy bum. :P
Mac Claims it to be a "Very matte vivid blue-red" I completely agree.But even after being blue based it is one of the very few Red lipsticks that suit any skin tone existing in this world. No matter how fair or how dark you are this will look ravishing on you without any doubt. :)

I really can not explain how royal it feels on the lips.Apart from my laziness this was the reason i kept avoiding the review with the swatches and looks.I was and am afraid i'll never be able to do justice to this lipstick with my words or swatches. You have to try it to know the difference.

If after trying the colorbar velvet matte lipsticks you thought you knew what matte finish is then you are so wrong.After trying this i can never like any lipstick as much as this.The matte-ness in this so different.It just hugs the lips with a powder soft finish. Even feels powdery when you slide it on the lips.Not hard i tell you.Its absolutely easy to glide on but the color comes out with a powder texture that kind of gets infused into your lips.Does not look as if you have a coat on your lips.Feels really soft.Looks like your natural lips are this deeply stained.Not at all artificial like some glossy reds make you look. to be frank with glossy reds i look like a s**t :/ With this it just oozes class!

Many people complain its drying.I have never experienced it though!What i agree with most people on is that you need to exfoliate if you have dry and flaky lips. I just put on a balm 5 mins before and wipe it off to make my lips soft when i feel my lips are already dry. It has the trade mark vanilla smell that is amazing when you open the cap.

Staying power is another thing! It stays on and on and on till the time you remove it purposefully. It is nontransferable so you can wear it to anywhere without having to worry abut the stains.
