Hello ladies. :D Its Friday already! What are your plans for the weekend??? I am just going to be a lazy bum as usual.SO nothing special for me. :/ Anyways today i am going to review my first MAC Blush that i got as a present from hubby dearest on my Birthday. ;)
They have hiked it to 1350/- now.guess i was lucky to get it at the old price. ;)
Ingredients:
My Experience:
MAC describes it as a soft coral peach.I agree but i also feel it has that earthiness in it that makes it an amazing blush for Indian skin tone, be it any occasion or time of the day! :)
This has the perfect balance of peach and coral and a hint of brown too. This is not a shade that will suit cool toned beauties i feel. The real beauty comes out on warm skin tones.
The packaging is the usual MAC kinds.A transparent lid with MAC printed on it and a black plastic base to hold the blush. The details printed on the back.As you can see it is a matte blush.
Lets have a close look at the blush. This is not the first time i am using a matte blush but this is really a matte -matte blush if you know what i mean. The texture is smooth and its highly pigmented for a color as mute as this.
If you compare it to MAC Peaches blush then this is less coral and more peach that the later. However this is not very easy to blend. If you start with a heavy hand then it kind of gets patchy when you are blending it.So i would suggest use a light hand and build it up as per you need but very slowly.
Here is the swatch on my hand.
As you can see, the line is clearly visible on the blended picture. Another thing i noticed is it kind of turns a shade dark(more coral i mean!) when it comes in contact with the warm skin which is again quite visible on the above pic.So I will again tell you to go slow with this one.this may not be a difficult shade to wear but it definitely needs good blending or you may still manage to look all muddy with it.
The staying power is really good with around 6 hrs of wear with slight fading.
Here it is on me.
I hope its is visible to you all.Camera somehow was not picking it up properly on the face and let me tell you i had loads of it for this pic actually. :P So the good point is it will look really good on picture even if you have put on a bit too much. ;) Just have to be careful that its daytime and nobody is gonna use Flash on you. :PNow you may all feel that i do not like this one much but even after the blending issue it has i love it. <3 Its really a good blush for office goers or for those who wear blushes much often. It goes really well with the Indian warm complexion giving a natural sun kissed look without much effort. Will suit medium to fair complexion beautifully i feel.
My Rating: 4 out of 5
My Recommendation: If you are looking for a natural looking matte blush then definitely yes.If you already have peaches then I don't think you need yo have this. Not that they are dupes but still they are from the same family and on cheeks they may end up looking quite similar. But if you are new to blushes then pick peaches. That is a sheer-tone blush hence you can go easy with the blending. :)
Hope you liked it on me!
