Lakme 9 to 5 Flawsless Makeup

Ok. This is not a product i am going to recommend to anyone.This is just one of my blunders from my past when i had no idea about any other brand other than Lakme and needed a foundation. You already know how i hate the fake look, but i always have had a foundation in my kity even if i never use it.So this was such a time when i realized another blunder of mine....the "Revlon Colorstay Active Light Makeup 02 Buff" In terms of shade....so i had to get another foundation and lakme was the only thing that came into my mind.

Maybelline Clearglow All in One Fairness Compact Powder with SPF 26/PA++

Yesterday was BB creams turn and today its the compact from the same Clear-glow range that is in focus.
The shade i am reviewing is "02 Nude Beige" .

The packaging is really neat.With one compartment for the compact and one for the sponge and a really nice n big mirror for touch ups. I am loving Maybelline's attention to packaging a lot. :) This looks like a perfect partner to the bb cream . Isn't it!

Maybelline Clearglow Bright Benefit Cream

I may be the last one reviewing this much popular BB cream launched months back here in India but i wanted to give it proper time to know if it actually works internally like it claims.So here is my take on the much hyped first of its like BB cream in India. (Not a trues Blemish Balm but a Bright Benefit cream)

Emergency Eye Makeup With Blushes ;)

What do you do when you are say anywhere but at home and suddenly you realise that you have a friend to visit to or just a date with your guy! You do not have your favorite e/s with you and you don't want to go out without your eyes done properly. 
Well if i know you ladies then am sure all of you keep your lipstick,blushes & compact for touch-ups... right! I do at least :P So am assuming you all do. ^_^ If you do not keep these then ...start doing so from now onwards...Lol! :P
I've done two looks with three blushes to give you all an idea.You can create a minimal as well as decked up look as per your choice.I like the neutral first look more.let me know which one you liked most. :) if at all you liked any of them. :P


I have maybelline clearglow all in one compact as a base in both the looks as we generally do not carry our foundations in our bag. ^_^

Sunsilk Keratinology "Dual Treatment Shots" Review

When i posted my haul pics HERE, most of you were interested in these dual treatment shots from Sunsilk Keratinology Range.I finally used it up and here i am, ready for a review.
It took me 4 washes (One wash per week) to finish these up. I've shoulder length,very thin curly hair with a lot of volume. To know my hair well...read THIS. :P If you have long thick hair then i guess you can use it twice.

Lakme Rose Powder with SPF

Summers are here already and when it comes to summer makeup, loose powder/compact play a very very important role.Especially for those with oily or combination skin.

Today i am going to review the Lakme Rose powder which is there with me since eternity. :P No, actually its only been a year, but the quantity is so much that i have not been able to finish even half of it.I already had left it in the corner of my vanity until now...Remembered about it when i resolved to finish at least half of my makeup stuff. :-|

It comes in a bulky and huge plastic tub with a typical Maroon trademark lakme packaging.
Price: INR 85/- for a huge 40 gms.
The regular pressed powder "Radiance compact" comes for INR 99/- and the quantity is 9 gms. So you can imagine how much product is actually there in this Rose powder tub.

Frankly, i am not a fan of this powder.No i have nothing against it either.Its just a plain tinted loose powder that does its job.I wish at least the packaging had been a little bit fancy to hold my interest till now. 

My CTM Routine: Morning :)

Ok.So finally i am doing this CTM post which many of you asked me to do earlier.I will share my skin care routine for the whole day in another post soon.let's just start with the most important of them all that is CTM.
CTM: Basically it stands for Cleansing, Toning & Moisturising.
All of you know how important it is for our skin.I personally feel it makes a lot of difference and is a must if you want to maintain a healthy skin.

My Personal Morning Routine: Combination skin- Normal skin all around except for the T-zone
The first thing i do after waking up is wash my face with plain water.Usually i don't get personal time till an hour or two.So i start my CTM a bit late.You can do it as per your schedule and preference. I would like to mention here that my CTM in the morning is not really the traditional one.I have changed it according to my preference and of course according to what technique suits my skin best.I am not saying it is the best way.What is best for me need not be the best for you.So work around the products that suit your skin type is all i can say. :)

NYX Rouge Cream blush is my first real cream blush....If you ignore the  mybelline dream mousse blush (Which you should cause its not as creamy as a cream blush should be).

A. MAC stufio fix powder cum foundation. :D cause it doesn’t give that caked up look I hate in most liquid foundations. Doesn’t really give much coverage but enough to even out my skin tone….exactly what I needed.   

Q. Which beauty product you have love and hate relationship with? Name it.

A. It has to be Organic Surge Moisture Boost shampoo .

Q. What is your most delicious beauty product?

A. The Nature's Co. Multi Vitamin Facial Massage cream!! :D It smells so yummm. *drool* Almost like a dessert and love the cinnamon twist it has.

Q. Which product do you neglect due to laziness?

A.Eye cream for sure. I’ve this serum since 4 months now and have not ever used it more than 3-4 days at a stretch. :|

Red lips n Gold eyes with MAC Ruby Woo - Look 1

Hello gals!!!
Its already been a month that i got Ruby Woo with me but i am yet to review it.Well not that i don't want to but i wanted to do a look with this hot matte red lipstick since a long time....and writing reviews all the time makes it a little boring...isn't it! So here is a look i tried my hands on today. Will be doing more looks with this lipstick in the coming days..:D After all its a Red Lipstick that to the famous Ms Ruby Woo ;)
Do tell me if you like it or not.I am all ears for your suggestions to improve. 
Also would like to know what shades would go with this lipstick. I know neutral brown/bronze looks good but i want to experiment ...so bring on some unconventional shades.I am game to try anything that appeals to me.;)

The Nature's Co. Coffee Face Scrub (Product-4 Blisscovered Jan Edition)

How do you like your coffee gals??? With caramel! chocolate! whipped cream! Well i like the regular plain old cappuccino. No add ons for me plz! Milk is the only thing i could use to dilute my coffee.Nothing else...
Well before you jump into the conclusion that i am doing a post on variety of coffee, Let me introduce you to the much raved about TNC's famous "Coffee Scrub"
Too much of drama han.. :P But i had to do it for you people only...
You see.... This is a coffee scrub and has a distinct coffee Aroma...but but but with a faint caramel twist.. obviously if you like caramel its going to make the awesome-st of a skin care produc for you.For me however its not the pure coffee fun i expected. (Speaking strictly about the aroma here)

I received a 5 ml sample pack in my blisscovered box (Jan Edition).Having heard too much about it from the blogging world i was expecting a bit too much i guess.
The amount lasted me a week when i used it everyday.

Shiseido White Luscent Brightening Protective Emulsion w with SPF 15: (Product-3 Blisscovered Feb Edition)

Before reviewing this product let me first tell you what an emulsion is!!! there is a whole lot of confusion about what is the difference between an emulsion and moisturizer.Functionally none actually! Both are different means to moisturize your skin.Technically yes! Emulsion is a mixture of different liquids which are otherwise unblendable ....umm too confusing?? Think water and oil.they cant be mixed into each other right? But if they are somehow mixed into each other properly it will be called an emulsion. not necessarily it has to be oil and water.it could be two oils (o/o type) or two water based liquids (w/w) or oil water (o/w or w/o) depending on what goes into what base. BTW Milk is an emulsion... ;)

I am not an expert but gathered this information after researching online. :) Hope it cleared the confusion.

The emulsion i am going to review has a w mentioned in its name.So i take it that it is a thoroughly water based emulsion.

What it claims:

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap For Skin Type 3 (Combination to Oily Skin) & my experience at the store

This so happened that i went to the clinique store @Inorbit Malad to check out their Anti blemish solution foundation for my acne prone skin exactly a month back.My skin was recovering from the acne bouts and it was almost clear.So the doc Ms. Reshma (i hope i got it right... :| ) asked me a few question as to why i want the anti-blemish one when my skin actually doesn't need it.I told about my acne history and then she started a proper consultation with a questionnaire.It turned out that i have a skin type-3 that is combination to oily.
After that we moved on to trying out the right shade for me.She also suggested me to try the super balanced foundation which is a medium coverage foundation.
So thus started out shade selection process and in the end i was so confused that i got a concealer instead :P n that to after just 2 mins of trial. :P
Few of the reasons behind not getting the foundation...
1. Anti blemish solution is super opaque.i don't like full coverage foundation on me.Though it was light on skin i just hate the masked up feeling it was giving my face. :/
2. Limited shades in both the ranges.i still have doubts about my shade.We started with shade no5 and tried every shade till no-9.And i was not convinced. :| 
3. I quite liked the formula of Super balanced range but again got confused with the shade.Got a sample with me and i am not sure if it is the right one for my skin tone. 
In the mean time she actually was more keen on my skin care routine....She suggested that i start using the clarifying lotion so that the skin is healthy. I knew why she was doing that coz the whole time i kept on telling her how i hate the flat foundation look and how i love the bare skin showing through whatever we use. :P so obviously she got it that even though i am in search of a foundation i actually don't need it. :P 
so i payed the bill and was ready to go when she gave me this sample of the Liquid facial soap for skin type-3.
i was travelling the next day only,so instead of my regular face wash i put it inside my travel bag and ohh boy! Am in love with this. :D
Its already been a month and i am using this religiously since the day i got it.So u can imagine how long a full size bottle will last.I am sure this is going to last another 15-20 days easily.
So coming back to this product.

RichFeel Calendula Soap For Acne

I am sure most of you have a certain skin problem which you are always concerned about.....For me its the ugly head of pimples every now and then.Especially in the winters. :( So when i was facing the same problem  again this winter and came across this I had to pick it up without a second thought .

I could not find any information regarding the usage and ingredients list.

My Experience:

When i was picking it up i had zero expectation out of it.To know if it actually works what i did was stopped using anything else to wash my face.
