5 MAC Powder Blushers for Indian Skin Tone

The ETM MAC Madness is going really strong. 😀 With just 2 more days left I wouldn’t mind (I know even you wouldn’t :P) if it goes on and overlaps the beginning of September. Today I have 5 MAC blushers that are suitable for our warm Indian skin tone. Take a look and pick one of your liking. 🙂

MAC Matte Blush “Melba” :

MAC describes it as a soft coral peach.I agree. It has that earthiness to it that makes it an amazing blush for Indian skin tone, be it any occasion or time of the day! 🙂

This has the perfect balance of peach and coral and a hint of brown too. This shade may not look as good on cool toned beauties IMO. The real beauty comes out on warm skin tones.

MAC Sheertone Blush “Peaches”:

The color in the pan might look scary Orange but due to the fact that it is Sheertone finish, it comes out beautifully as a Peach color on cheeks. This is the shade you would love to wear when you want to look fresh. It is versatile and I love pairing it with Orange, Peach and Coral lipsticks. It would suit best to fair to medium complexioned gals.

MAC Matte Blush “Frankly Scarlet” :

MAC describes it as a vivid rose red .The shade is the most beautiful red with pink undertone…or as MAC would call it a beautiful vivid rose red. 🙂 Somehow this never looked scary to me. In fact the first time I swatched it at the store in Mumbai, this was the only blush I got attracted to from the display. The rosy flush it gives is un-matchable. It brings out the beauty in any complexion in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind using it every single day. The best thing is it goes with most colors in your outfit or makeup except for stark bold oranges/corals. So you can use it a lot more than you think is possible. 🙂

MAC Sheertone Blush “Gingerly”:

MAC Gingerly is described as a “Capri Bronze”. It has a warm and Orange undertone to it. It looks a lot like TerracottaThe finish is Sheertone which means a velvety texture.
The best thing about this blush is that it is sans any shimmer which makes it a perfect office-wear shade. My favorite finish for MAC blushes is Sheertone as they are as the name suggests sheer. A fool-proof formula for beginners. buildable just without the fear of getting clown-cheeks in one go!

MAC Satin Blush “Fleur Power” :

MAC+Fleur+Power+Blush+Swatch+Review

The color is aptly described by MAC as pinkish-coral and applies on my cheeks mostly as a healthy rosy flush which looks beautiful with each and every color and outfit I have tried till now and looks very glowy and summery during the day and equally soft classy on a dinner date. *_*

The texture is satin– the intermediate between sheer-tone shimmers and mattes, so it has wonderful color pay-off like the mattes but still has a slight sheen to it. O:) The texture is smooth and silky and just a light dusting on the apples of the cheeks provides adequate color. 😀
So which one did you like best? I like them all. 😛 But if I have to pick I will chose Frankly Scarlet and Fleur Power. 🙂
