Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream: Swatch, Review And FOTD

Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream: Swatch, Review And FOTD

Okay, how many of you took advantage of the GOSF at Nykaa which began at midnight? And well, the site crashed soon after and became super slow? I had already put what I needed in my cart within 10 minutes of midnight, and carted everything within the next five minutes, paying for it with my credit card. I was eyeing the Deborah Milano BB Cream for a long time, ever since a few blog friends claimed it was amazing, and picked it up in shade 4, Apricot. I had already swatched it in the Deborah Milano counter a while back, and at that point it had been 350/- … imagine my surprise to see the price almost doubled! Within 2 days of placing my order, my package had come to me, and I am using this every day for the last week.

My Take on Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream:

The packaging is pretty simple – a black tube which you can press lightly to get the required amount of cream on your skin. It is great for traveling and carrying around with you, as I have discovered.

Once you open the screw top lid, the cream is liquid enough to ooze out. A little bit is needed to cover my face, and I love the fact that the consistency is quite liquid, because it helps in spreading well. It does give sheer to medium coverage.

BB Cream

Deborah Milano BB Cream does reduce my imperfections easily, and although it does not moisturize much, it also does not dry out skin and make white patches stand out. The shade Apricot is absolutely perfect for my skin tone and it reduces the redness around my nose, reduces the dark circles around my eyes, and hides minor blemishes. After buying this, my daily makeup look is as follows – clean face, moisturize, add BB cream, pat it down with a bit of concealer under my eyes, set everything with a bit of powder, then proceed with the rest of my makeup.

The cream stays on easily for 6-8 hours on my skin in this weather, and frankly speaking, I have not kept it on for longer, so I don’t know if it stays longer. However, it does make my skin tone look naturally more improved, without looking too obviously made up. I like the natural finish it gives me, and it also photographs well, as you can see from the FOTD where I am only wearing the BB Cream over my daily moisturizer

Pros of Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream:

  • Travel friendly
  • Blends easily
  • Stays a good period of time
  • Does not dry out my skin
Cons of Deborah Milano 5 in 1 BB Cream:
  • New price tag seems to be almost double the old one
  • Does not moisturize my skin
Verdict: 4/5
Final word: Well, if you are a fan of BB creams, I think you should pick this up. But, suggestion – don’t buy it blindly – match it first on the counter before buying.
ETM Edit* It does sound really good as an everyday wear base. Do agree with you about the insane price increase in such a short period of time. I am loving the Lakme CC cream in bronze a lot these days. The correct shade does make a huge difference when it comes to base makeup. The beige one looked fine on me but bronze makes my skin look absolutely natural. So yes, do check out your shades before ordering these BB and CC creams blindly. Nice review Poorna. 🙂
