MAC So Sweet So Easy Cremeblend Blush:Swatch, Review And FOTD

byAgnirupa

Heyya pretties!
I suddenly realized, I am such a biigg fan of crème blushes yet haven’t reviewed any of them yet. 😐 *smacks myself!* but I really don’t understand the majority of ladies who are averse to cream blushes! I mean if I have brought up the crème blush topic amongst 10 ladies, 8 of them have shuddered and said- “No thank you; we are comfortable with our powders” :-/! In spite of being an oily skinned girl I am the biggest fan of crème finish blushes, mostly because they give the most natural blush finish to the face! You literally look as if you are blushing from within ^_^ and yeahh also because am too lazy to whip out a brush, apply powdery blush and clean the brush to put it away! I just whip out my cream blush, put a couple of dots and blend smoothly with my warm fingers! Ta-da! Presenting today- MAC So Sweet So Easy!

What MAC Says: So Sweet, So Easy is described as a bright yellow pink in a cremeblend finish 🙂
Price: 1350 :-/ *hummpphh*
My take:
The cremeblend blushes of MAC come in their regular blush pan with a tight click lid which makes it quite easy to carry about in your purse or bag 🙂
The texture is light and smooth, creamy yet non-greasy and applies extremely easily, blending like a smooth dream

The pigmentation is good and color shows up in a single swipe but being a crème blush it is difficult to go overboard with it and you can easily control the amount you need for your look and circumstance!
The color is a pale baby pink which I really like but err..probably won’t show up medium-dark skintones, 😐 but on very fair and especially cool under-toned ladies this appears as a very fresh, dewy pink which does not give much of a blush effect but instead gives a fresh morning rosy glow!
The staying power is pretty amazing and though this blush isn’t at all madly pigmented, it stays on my oily – combi cheeks for straight 7+ hours. 🙂 It does not streak, make skin greasy or oily and overall an extremely easy to use and lovely formula <3

The pros:
  • Sensible, travel friendly packaging with tight lid 🙂
  • Very light smooth texture, easy to apply and wear 🙂
  • Pale fresh pink color which lends a fresh lovely glow to fair and cool undertoned complexions especially!
  • Amazing staying power which easily lasts 7+ hours on me 🙂
  • Hasn’t broken me out even in summer months.
  • Does not streak, spread or make skin greasy <3

The cons:

  • Priceyyy!!
  • Not a suitable color for most of us indian women..we need more pigmented shades! But then that’s not their con ^_^ *just saying!*
My rating: 3.5/5 🙂
Do I recommend?
Mac cremeblend blushes?? Oohh yess I highly recommend!! My favorite of the lot being Posey *coming soon with the review!* very smooth. Creamy yet light and non-oily texture, a little goes a long way and the easiest way of bringing a natural flush to cheeks without any brush..hence easy to touch up too! Lasts on and on too 😀 amazing must-try formula!

A very very happy new year to all of you. 😀 Wait for me to return with a truckload of new product reviews. *_* Till then bubyee!!! Keep smiling <3
ETM Edit* Its a pretty pink blush Agni. It looks extremely natural on you. Sadly I come under those 8 people who like their powder blushers better. 😀 Not because its difficult to apply or oily on skin, but because they expire in a year and I don’t like throwing away my products so soon. 😛
