Colobar Perfect Match Primer Review
Hey Lovely Ladies,
This is my first post on ETM and I am so very excited and nervous as well! Today I am going to talk about a primer, this is the first primer I have used for my face and it does make a lot of difference. I always thought primers are just an addition to our makeup routine, but not anymore. Presenting Colorbar Perfect Match Primer.

My Review on Colobar Perfect Match Primer:
The Colorbar perfect match primer comes in a sleek inverted white bottle and a nozzle. The primer looks like a transparent gel and has a slightly thick texture, it has a very smooth and slightly slippery feel to it. It blends in very easily into my skin and after applying it my skin immediately feels satiny smooth and soft to touch. It takes care of the large pores on my nose and inner cheeks and blurs them out, if you have fine lines then it will have a similar effect as well. There is a subtle glow whenever I apply it.
My skin type is combination which gets oily in summers, I use apply this on my face 2-3 minutes before applying my foundation and it makes the blending very easy. It gives that flawless appearance to the face, and my foundation never looks cakey or patchy with this primer underneath. Like most primer this Colorbar primer is also silicone based and I use it few times a week, but it has never caused any breakout or reactions on my skin. Before, when I was not used to a primer, my makeup would start fading after 4-5 hours from my t-zone due to oil breakdown and that also caused my foundations to oxidize. But, with this perfect match primer from colorbar beneath, it says intact for 6-7 hours in this weather so it definitely controls oiliness which is really good for me. I do feel the price is on the higher side for a drugstore brand and product but I have this bottle since some time now and only little quantity is required for each use, and it does everything that a good primer is expected to do so I do not mind the price.
Colorbar Perfect Match Primer Swatch:
I cannot tell how well it will work for dry skin, but for oily skin it is a boon. I also recommended this perfect match primer to friend and it worked very well for her oily skin as well
Pros of Colobar Perfect Match Primer:
- I like the sleek packaging
- Little goes a long way
- Makes may makeup last longer
- Blurs and minimizes the look of open pores
- Foundation blends very smoothly with it underneath
- Gives a smooth and flawless appearance to skin
Cons of Colobar Perfect Match Primer:
- Slightly expensive for a drugstore product
- Silicones may not suit everyone
My Rating: 4.5/5
My Recommendation: Overall I recommend Colorbar perfect match primer to everyone, especially to girls with oily skin, but if your skin does not react well to silicones then skip it.
Review by Avii
[alert-note]This sounds really really nice Avii. I always wanted to try this out, but never did cause I am not too sure about the silicones. Silicone does not always go well on my skin. Sometimes it does not react and sometimes it breaks me out after only one use. 😐 May be I should take a chance and try it out now. Nice review and welcome to ETM family. 🙂 [/alert-note]
