My Take on MAC ‘Pinch Me’ Blush:
Shade: Medium dirty rose coral is quite an apt description for Pinch me. Just don’t judge the shade by what you see in the pan, which is more of deep terracotta color; when applied, the color changes to a muted dirty pink shade. It’s a nice warm rose shade which looks natural yet is obviously there.
Pinch Me is an on the go kind of shade that you can carry off every day to add a natural flush to your cheeks. It’s just right for daily wear, or with done-up eyes.
Texture: “Pinch me” is from the sheer tone range, but quite pigmented anyway, so apply it with a light hand. It lasts all day and blends well during application. The shade is completely matte so may look a bit muddy/overdone if applied heavily. It is quite easy to pick the color and a one time application is all that is needed to get the natural look.
Staying Power: The blush being nicely pigmented stays on for several hours at a stretch. I didn’t find the color fading in the 6 hour time frame I tried it on for. It fades away evenly too.
Packaging: Since I have the refill pack which has a magnetic base and so it can easily sit in my Inglot palette along with the other blush refills and eye shadows. Carrying the refill around alone can be a problem.
