e.l.f. Glitter Primer Review and Price India
The Indian wedding season is upon us and we Delhi girls do love glitter! It can sometimes be construed as tacky but if used sparingly and in quiet bursts, it is sure to elevate your look from the realm of pretty to stunning.
In the past, I would stick to a few pieces of jewellery to bring the bling to my outfits but recently I have turned to glitter eyeshadows. While these look brilliant, they are a huge pain in the rear end to keep on your eyelids and stop them from traveling all over your face. I turned to this primer to ensure that my glittery shadows didn’t crease or travel to unwanted places, read on to see how it fared!

My Take on the e.l.f. Glitter Primer
Glitter looks wonderful as an accent but if you have a face full of glitter you are sure to look like an extra from a bad 80’s Bollywood movie. Thankfully, this primer has ensured that all my high octant glittery eyeshadows remain on my eyes and don’t travel all over my face.
This has been an absolute god send when it comes to glitter! It makes sure that the eyeshadow stays in place for the duration of the function, doesn’t crease and looks intense. But you must be certain about how to use this primer! If you aren’t, I assure you that will end up with creased and badly blended makeup.
Please be clear about the fact that this primer is not akin to a traditional primer. You don’t dab this on, wait for it to dry and go about your business. Instead, you must use a normal eyeshadow primer, do all your base shadow work and blend like a boss! After which you should dab on this primer over the areas you will place your glitter eyeshadow, wait for 2-3 seconds but not enough for the primer to dry completely, and just pat your glitter eyeshadow over this. Don’t brush the eyeshadow, pat! This way you are certain that the glitter adheres perfectly to the primer and any fallout is minimized greatly. If you use this in place of a regular primer, you’ll find that blending is impossible and your shadows will crease in a few minutes.
At this price point, one can afford to have a designated glitter primer to take care of all your glittery needs. So ladies? Go crazy with the glitter this wedding season without looking like a demented disco ball! 😛

Review by Nivanya
[alert-note]Ooooh! I like the concept of this glitter primer! 😀 haven’t quite used anything like this. One query though! Doesn’t it mess with the shadow when you put it above one? Or you just apply a dot and leave it like that? Nice clicks and review Nivanya! 🙂 [/alert-note]
