My Take on Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick
Recently I have been trying out different concealers one of which is the Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick. Concealer comes in a twist up stick form and the size is similar to that of a lipstick. The packaging is fuss free and easy to carry as well. There are 3 shades available and I have the darkest shade 05 honey which has neutral undertones and matches my skin tone nicely. The shade selection is not great as the darkest shade also will be most suitable for light to medium skin tones only. 🙁 I don’t know when these companies will realize the importance of proper shade selection particularly darker shades!
The texture is smooth but not very creamy, it can easily tug on application if skin is not moisturized well, and so moisturizing is must before using this concealer. Also it can easily get patchy and uneven if not blended well due to the slightly dry texture. Fingers work best as they help in melting the product giving an even application. The texture it’s very lightweight and feels comfortable on skin.
It dries down to a matte finish and can easily emphasize any of those fine lines especially under the eyes, hence it is a good product for young skin only. Because of the finish and texture I avoid it using under the eyes and stick to liquid concealers for that. It is very much prone to creasing, and starts to crease within 15-20 mins of application to avoid that setting it with some powder is necessary.
The concealer has light to medium coverage, it is good enough for everyday wear and to cover light blemishes, redness but not an ideal product if one needs more coverage. It holds up pretty well throughout the day and lasts for 7-8hours. Since it has SPF 20 it gives slight white cast especially if the shade is any lighter than skin tone.

My Rating: 3/5
My Recommendation: I am not that happy with this Lakme Absolute White Intense Concealer Stick. It was a random purchase but not a great one. There are better option available in the market. I would only suggest it if you are looking for a very budget friendly concealer for any light scars or blemishes on the face, or else skip it.

[alert-note]Sounds like an average product. Colorbar concealer stick is a much better option in comparison with a similar price tag. Nice and detailed review Avii. Great clicks as always. :)[/alert-note]
