Bright Colorful Spring Makeup Tutorial
Hey all!!! As promised in the last spring makeup tutorial, I am back with a more colorful makeup for spring. Though pastels are the current trend, bright colors are always in for a spring look. Since everybody is not comfortable with wearing all pastel shades, I am sharing a bright, colorful spring look which is more wearable. As always, be free to add or omit any step in the look. Hope you guys like it. 🙂
Lets start with the tutorial.

Prep before the eye makeup:
As always, clean your face and eyes properly. Apply your favorite moisturizer and under-eye cream to get the base ready.
Step by Step Bright Blue-Green Spring Makeup Tutorial:
Step 1: Start with filling and defining your eyebrows. Apply and blend a concealer or a primer on the lids.
Step 2: Apply an orangey brown shadow in the crease and blend well. I have used the bronzer from the Bh Cosmetics BH Hollywood Palette.
Step 3: Apply a blue cream base on the outer corner and the inner corner of the eye. Leave the center lid empty. Apply the same blue base on the outer lower lash line as well. I have used Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeliner in Blue.
Step 4: Apply a green/teal cream base on the center of the lid. I have used Wet N Wild Coloricon Eyeliner in Turquoise.
Step 5: Apply a shimmery bright green eyeshadow on the center of the lid, right on the green/teal cream base. Do not blend the shadow yet. I have used the shimmery green shade from the Bh Cosmetics BH Hollywood Palette.
Step 6: Apply a bright royal blue on the inner corner and the outer corner of the eye, right on the blue cream base. Blend this eye shadow a bit with the green shadow on the centre part. I have used the bright blue shade from the Bh Cosmetics BH Hollywood Palette.
Step 7: The colors are well placed now and might be looking too bright on the eyes. Worry not. Now is the time to blend away as always. Take the same blending brush you used to apply the orangey brown in the crease. Do not pick any more eye shadow. Blend and soften the edges of the look. You might feel the colors fading way due to blending. Apply more and blend a little more, till the time you are satisfied.
Step 8: Tight line the upper lash line using your favorite eye pencil. I have used Bourjois Khol & Contour in Ultra Black.
Step 9: Since this is a fun look, a black eyeliner might look too harsh. To keep the look soft, use a medium green eyeliner to line your upper lash line. Wing out the line a bit. I have used Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Moss.
Step 10: Apply a yellow eye shadow on the lower lash line and blend out the blue cream base as well. Smoke out the lower lash line as per your comfort level. I have used the yellow shade from the Bh Cosmetics BH Hollywood Palette.
Step 11: Apply a cream eyeliner in the lower water line to add more drama to the eye look. I have used Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter.
Step 12: Highlight the inner corner and the brow bone. I have used a slightly shimmery pale ivory shade from the Bh Cosmetics BH Hollywood Palette.
Step 13: Now is the time to pull out your colored mascaras. Curl your lashes and apply any colored mascara. I have stuck to the color palette and used a green colored mascara. You can play safe and apply a black mascara as well.
This is the final eye look.
Once the eyes are done, complete your base. Apply a medium pink lipstick and a subtle blush to bind the look together. Hope you liked this version as well. 🙂

[alert-note]Beautiful Himani. I would definitely prefer a black or even a blue when I am feeling adventurous. Green mascara is too risky for me :P, but you have managed to carry it so well! 😀 [/alert-note]
