Forest Essentials Lightening and Brightening Tejasvi Emulsion Review
Hello my lovelies 🙂
I had hauled from Forest Essentials quite a long time back and wanted to review them all for you guys then and there but since the products are some of the cult FE ones, I wanted to give them a proper time period to spin their wonders on my skin and now after a couple of months, here is my take on the very hyped Forest Essentials Lightening and Brightening Tejasvi Emulsion. *_*
What Forest Essentials Says-
Lavishes your skin with rich restorative moisture. The base of pure Cow’s milk ‘Ghee’ instantly provides extraordinary lighting of the skin tone and brightening of the skin. With regular massage the skin acquires a noticeably soft, fairer, resilient and ‘plumped’ quality, and a radiant glow or “Tejas”.
How to use
After cleansing the skin as per your normal routine, apply a small dab of emulsion on Forehead, cheeks, nose and neck each.Massage well into skin for at least fifteen to twenty minutes with upward strokes.Wring out a small towel in hot water, and place on face for one minute.Wipe off excess emulsion.
Price- 2275/-INR for 50 gms *sob*
My Take on the Forest Essentials Lightening and Brightening Tejasvi Emulsion
The Tejasvi emulsion comes in a very familiar luxurious Forest Essentials tub with a glossy golden cap and a protective plastic lid underneath 🙂 My gripe of course is that I have to dip my fingers in to scoop out the required amount *What about a wooden spatula next time FE?* but otherwise it’s easy to carry around.
The Tejasvi emulsion is a solid ghee-like texture beet red in colour and melts in the heat of your fingers allowing a tiny amount to be taken out each time and yess it is sufficient for the entire face and neck! The ghee-like emulsion is extremely creamy, heavy and is bound to leave a residue behind *reddish residue in fact :P* It is advised to massage the emulsion into your skin very nicely and then use a damp tissue to remove the excess. Since I sleep in an A.C room, I do not remove whatever is left and keep it on like a sleeping mask. 😛
Surprisingly it does not make my combination skin oilier than usual or broke me out and I wash it off in the morning with the FE recommended hand-pounded fruit scrub *review coming* or their Tejasvi ubtan and dear god! The first time I used it, I immediately felt and saw a major change in my skin! My skin looked radiant, supple, healthy and felt silky smooth to touch. <3 I use this emulsion twice a week and have seen a noticeable change in my acne scars, tan and old spots so yeah- it does work!
The fragrance umm..is just like ghee and very overpowering so if you do not fancy slathering ghee on your face and smelling like ghee for quite sometime afterwards, skip this! I am a ghee ki deewani *as my tummy will tell you :-/* and do not mind a bit 😀

[alert-note]I really really feel I need to try this emulsion. My acne scars could definitely use some outside help for fading. So far all the Forest Essential products I have used have worked really well on me. Hope this one does too. lovely review Agni. BTW it looks so much like mixed fruit jam. XD Jam that smells like ghee. Either way perfect for my morning toast. 😛 [/alert-note]
