Fabindia Rose and Geranium Face Scrub Review
Here I am again with another interesting product from Fabindia. It’s the celebrated Scrub- Rose and Geranium scrub. Exfoliating is very important for your skin, it removes dead skin cells and renews it, your skin glows more and so do you 😉 . That’s what we girls want right? To glow, glow and glow :D. While Fabindia has a variety of scrubs I chose to pick this one cause……………cause its Rose! 😉 It’s no secret that we girls love rose and all rosy things. So let’s get started.
What Fabindia Says-
An exfoliating gel with soothing rose petal and geranium oil. The rose petals have a cooling effect while the geranium oil detoxifies.

My take on the Fabindia Rose and Geranium Face Scrub:
Now, firstly I love the brand Fabindia, they are organic, natural, their description doesn’t shout loud, and most of all – they are Indian.
Secondly here, the packaging comes in a firm plastic tub, with a screw cap and a lid again to avoid spillage, this sturdy tub and the inner lid ensures that the package is very travel friendly, however the only drawback being, you got to use your hand to get it out, as long as I was the only one using it, it doesn’t really matter. The smell, well, it was heavenly, mild pleasing aroma of roses, I fell for it at the store itself, when I smelled the trial version. Next the color, well roses are red so is this scrub :P, it is in a gel like consistency making it easy to spread and have those amazing walnut granules.
I usually use it every alternate days, after using the Fabindia tea tree cleansing milk and then follow up with a moisturizer to avoid dryness or damage. It cleanses well, removes dead skin cells, removes tan, but tan removal doesn’t happen fast it takes about 2-3 times of usage, but it does! I’m personally okay with a gel scrub or a cream scrub, but people with dry skin may prefer a cream scrub more. I expected it to act on my pigmentation/black heads also after regular usage, but sadly it didn’t. Again, it does what it claims, so I do not have any complaints.
Pros of Fabindia Rose and Geranium Face Scrub:
- Cleanses well
- Package is sturdy and travel friendly
- Smells good
- Works well on dead skin cells and tan
- Does not contain parabens or SLS
- Not tested on animals
Cons of Fabindia Rose and Geranium Face Scrub:
- Tub packaging is considered a bit unhygienic for some
- Doesn’t work on black heads and pigmentation
- Gel scrub may not suit people with dry/sensitive skin

Review by Joanita
[alert-note]Sounds like an average scrub, but with an interesting list of ingredients. 🙂 Somehow Fabindia skin and hair care never worked on me.:/ Glad we found a Fabindia loyalist. Now it would be easy for us to pick stuff that actually works. O:) Great review Joanita. [/alert-note]
