Colourpop Lippie Stix in “Kiddo” Review, Swatch, LOTD-
Hey my pretties 🙂
Firstly, a very very Happy New Year to all you lovelies 😀 Hope this new year comes loaded with more makeup, more fulfilled wishes & of course, a fatter wallet & a thinner body *_* Yess, our hopes are high! To kick start our year, I will be reviewing my current MLBB shade, and yes it’s from Colourpop 😛
What Colourpop Says-
SHEER- Sheer coverage, light weight and comfortable on your lips, contains Organic Coconut Butter for lots of moisture and Vitamin E for protection.
A mid-toned peachy pink – 10 points if you are thinking of who we are thinking of when you say this name…
Price- 5$ for 1 gm in USA & around 600-650 INR from Instagram sellers
My take on Colourpop Lippie Stix in “Kiddo”-
The lippie stix from Colourpop comes in slim, white plastic tubes with a tight lid making it very easy to carry around but I think the white tubes look a bit tacky 😐 The ends are color-coded to differentiate between numerous shades.
The texture is lovely, soft, creamy and feels easy & comfortable, gliding on lips. Since this is a sheer finish, it’s my absolute favorite & I never have to worry about exfoliating/hydrating lips beforehand as it’s a natural glossy finish which never accentuates fine lines/flaws <3
The pigmentation is good and I need 2-3 swipes since it’s a sheer finish 🙂
The shade “Kiddo” is definitely my MLBB 😀 It’s a medium rose pink with a tinge of peach which is bound to look amazing on a broad range of different complexions 🙂 🙂
The lasting power is okayish owing to it’s glossy finish & does wear off in 2-3 hours but I have no issues with that.
It has a lovely vanilla fragrance, very similar to MAC lippies and I love it!
Pros of Colourpop Lippie Stix in “Kiddo”:
1> Slim tube packaging with a tight lid, easy to travel with 🙂
2> Smooth, soft texture- easy o glide on lips, gives a natural glossy hydrated finish.
3> Does not accentuate lip lines/flaws.
4> The shade Kiddo is a lovely medium pink with a tinge of peach making it suitable for a variety of different skin tones as a natural everyday shade.
5> Pigmentation is good and gives opaque color in 2-3 swipes as it’s a sheer finish.
6> Lovely vanilla fragrance!
Cons of Colourpop Lippie Stix in “Kiddo”:
Availability is always the issue with Colourpop & this is no different.
