A clay masque and this serum and this has been and will be my favorite for a long long time. 🙂 Let’s get to know this Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum better.

Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum Review :
This is my first brush with Sukin Organics. Ever since I moved to Australia I have been seeing so many organic brands, so easily available at the nearest beauty store unlike India where finding a good organic skincare brand can be a tough task. I was looking for a lightweight day-night moisturiser soon after the move. Zeroed in on Sukin as the brand and then started trying out the products in that aisle. I was actually checking out the moisturisers when this serum caught my attention. The ingredient list and the name “Facial Recovery Serum” just felt right for my recovering skin. So picked it up instantly as the texture was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. 🙂
Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum comes packaged in a dark glass bottle with a spray pump, typical to most Sukin serums and oils. I find it very practical and pretty. It’s easy to carry around too owing to the small 30 ml size. This super greens range has a bottle green body to match the theme.
Sukin Organics Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum Swatch
The milky white serum is runny in consistency and looks exactly like milk. It spreads easily on skin and gets absorbed in seconds. Also, you can just pat it across your face and let it sink in. Either ways, it works great for me. Being water based, it is very lightweight and does not leave behind any trace of oily-ness but still manages to hydrate so very well. As suggested I use it twice a day, morning and evening since January and did not feel the need for a moisturiser until this past week. Unless I go out, I can still manage with this serum alone. Those getting confused about why I need a moisturiser now, It’s autumn in Australia and Melbourne is cold already. :X
The ingredient list is full of natural antioxidants and the fact that it does not have any harmful chemicals is an added bonus. Antioxidants work on the free radicals that damage skin cells and cause ageing. They even work as a sunscreen by fighting off UV damage. So it is a great idea to use an antioxidant rich serum beneath sunscreen for extra protection. Antioxidant rich formulas work great in combination with retinol based products too by neutralising the byproducts while Retinol is at work. So you can use it before your antiageing night cream to boost its performance too. Isn’t that great?
As for the effects on my skin, I have not noticed any major difference. But overall my skin looks and feels so much better. <3 The changes are very subtle but adds a lot to the end result. My skin looks well rested, healthy and doesn’t have dry patches any more. When I touch my skin, it feels a lot smoother than before too. And I do believe it has helped the Triacneal perform better on my troubled skin because the major difference happened somewhere around Jan-Feb. 🙂 So these subtle changes have made me stick to this Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum for a while. I am on my 2nd bottle already and plan to pick this up again.
My Rating: 4 out of 5
My Recommendation: Definitely. If you are able to then definitely try this super greens facial recovery serum from Sukin Organics. I have acne prone skin, so am always a little scared to try anything new. This recovery serum has however given me the confidence to move on and strat with a good skincare routine. BTW Antioxidant rich formulas work the best when included in your morning as well as night CTM. So keep that in mind. 🙂
