The Body Shop And Sephora Australia Haul
Hello ladies. How are you doing Today? For me its a good good day, cause I am doing a haul post after a long while. 😀 And since most of it is skin care, I am in a happy place. If that sounds weird to you, then let me clarify that I have always been a skincare girl. Somehow the past few years have not been too good for my skin, hence I was consciously avoiding trying anything new. Now that my skin has settled a bit thanks to Avene Triacneal, I am taking slow and steady steps towards a good skin care routine. And that led me to my nearest The Body Shop store. 🙂
The Body Shop Skincare Haul:
- The Body Shop Soothing & Restoring Body Butter For sensitive, dry skin
- The Body Shop Vit C Glow Boosting Moisturiser
- The Body Shop Aloe Calming Face Cleanser
My skin had been doing fine with just Sukin Super Greens Facial Recovery Serum post wash for the past 3-4 months. But the sudden drop in temperature this past week has got my skin craving for more moisture. The body Shop Australia has recently launched the Almond Milk and Honey range here, which is why I got the body butter from that range to try.
For face, I was torn between Vit-E and Vit-C range. Vit E moisturiser felt way too hydrating for my skin back in India. It’s only during my Mussorie trip that I managed to use up my tub. But again it has been a long time and I am no longer in my twenties. The Vit C moisturiser however just vanished into my skin immediately. Hence I picked it up without a second thought. The SA suggested a sample of Drops Of Youth cream to try and see if that is a more suitable option for my skin once it’s winter officially. I am actually using this sample right now and it does not feel as heavy as it felt on my hand.I might actually pick this up once I am done with Vit C moisturiser. But maybe it’s too soon to judge. Will form an opinion once I start with my Vit C glow boosting moisturiser. O:)
These days I am in a *can’t get enough of cleansers* phase. O:) I already have 2 micellar waters, but still went ahead with the Aloe calming cleanser as I thought it would be a better option for this season. Love cream cleansers in dry weather and so far, loving this one too.
- Sephora Micellar Cleansing Milk – Rose
- Sephora Cleansing Cream – Yuzu
- Sephora Beauty Amplifier Smothing & Brightening Powder
- Sephora V for Volume Mascara – 04 Violet League
This was a totally impulsive haul as I went there looking for a full coverage foundation. The mix n play skincare range was everywhere and just too cute to ignore. 😛 They have launched 6 ranges “Rose”, “Coconut water”, “Yuzu”, “Green Tea” , “Pomegranate” & “Charcoal” , each consisting of a micellar cleanser, cleansing cream, cleansing wipe and lip balm. 😀 So, these two I got are the 4th and 5th cleanser I have on my bathroom shelf right now (excluding foaming face washes. *facepalm*
About the foundation, I got a sample of Estee lauder double wear foundation, but somehow I am not very impressed. Maybe it’s not what I am looking for right now! ? Need to go foundation hunting again! :X
Picked up the beauty amplifier smoothing & brightening powder as I am about to finish my favorite Kryolan Transluscent Powder. BTW Kryolan is so freaking expensive in Australia. :O The same powder costs AU$ 40.00 i.e INR 2000/-. I should have got a backup. :'( The only thought that calms me is that at least I will get to experiment more now.
And the last one from Sephora is this violet mascara. ^_^ The volume part is hypothetical here 😛 but I still love that uniform dose of colour on my lashes. Looks really really nice. <3
No, Sephora doesn’t sale L’Oreal. 😛 That one is a part of my previous priceline haul a fortnight back. I picked up a foundation, a brow gel and this newly launched Feline Mascara that is an extension of one of my favorite and much loved Volume Million Lashes Mascara . The formula is kind of similar, but with comparatively more drama. Included it in this post because I am still excited about this one. O:)
And here comes the last one from Kmart. Picked it up randomly a week back and totally forgot about it until this haul post. 😛 Gonna use and share my views. This also has a serum, hair spray, shampoo and conditioner all priced at $4.00 each :O.
And that’s it. ^_^ Reviews will follow super soon. Lemme know which products you are most excited about! I will plan reviews accordingly. 🙂
