Forest Essentials Amla, Honey and Mulethi Hair Conditioner Review-
Hello my lovelies!
I recently picked up a lot of things from the newly launched hair care range from Forest Essentials & have been using the Amla, Honey & Mulethi shampoo which did not go down very well with my fine hair. Let’s see how it’s sister conditioner fares 🙂
What Forest Essentials Says-
This intensive conditioner enriched with rich Raw Organic Honey, Bhringraj, Amla, Henna and virgin Coconut Oil, will leave your hair glossy and smooth. Rich in Vitamin C, Amla fruit extract conditions the hair making it healthy and smooth. Mulethi extracts detangles the hair.
Price: 1295/- INR for 200ml
My take on the Forest Essentials Amla, Honey and Mulethi Hair Conditioner-
The conditioner comes in a similar sturdy square plastic bottle with a nozzle opening & a luxurious golden cap with pista green accent colors to match the range. I have to shake/squeeze the bottle really hard to dispense the conditioner :-/ A tube packaging would have worked way better for a product of this consistency IMO. These do come in separate travel friendly bottles for carrying around.
The conditioner is milky white in color with a creamy thick consistency which makes it a pain to pour it out in the shower with slippery hands. I need a really small amount to massage on my hair lengths & ends & I keep it on for 2-3 minutes before rinsing it out with cold water. Hair feels detangled & smooth along with it being easy to rinse out.
After drying my hair naturally, my hair does not feel as silky or smooth as I like it to :-/ It feels hydrated & a bit weighed down honestly. It does cut down on my frizz a lot but neither makes my hair shiny nor silky so blehh..I have tons of cheaper & better conditioners.
The conditioner has the same sweet honey like fragrance of the shampoo but not as strong. Used together, the fragrance easily lingers on my hair for a couple of days.
Pros of the Forest Essentials Amla, Honey and Mulethi Hair Conditioner:
1> Luxurious packaging available in travel sized bottles as well 🙂
2> Only a small amount is needed on the hair lengths & ends 🙂
3> Hydrates the hair well & cuts down a lot on frizz <3
4> No harmful chemicals-only natural ingredients 🙂
5> Sweet honey like fragrance which lingers on 🙂
Cons of the Forest Essentials Amla, Honey and Mulethi Hair Conditioner:
1> Being thicker in consistency, it is a pain to pour this out through the nozzle :-/
2> Does not make my hair silky/shiny or smooth 😐
3> Weighs my hair down.
Swatch of the Forest Essentials Amla, Honey and Mulethi Hair Conditioner-
My Rating: 3.5/5
Do I recommend the Forest Essentials Amla, Honey and Mulethi Hair Conditioner?
Forest Essentials Amla, Honey and Mulethi Hair Conditioner is a natural conditioner meant for thicker, normal-dry hair types. It hydrates hair beautifully & reduces frizz to a great extent & has a lingering honey fragrance <3 For greasier. thinner hair it is a complete no-go.
