Fabindia Rose Facial Water Review

I Love to use facial waters on my skin through out the year  . Specially in summers , these are just pure bliss . I purchased this particular Fabindia Rose Facial Water  on a friends’ recommendation who is a big fan of Fab India products . I have not tried a lot from their Skincare range but I have definitely heard and read some positive reviews on their products . I am sharing my thoughts on the Rose Facial water today in my review …

My Experience with Fabindia Rose Facial Water :

The FabIndia Rose facial water comes  in a simple , sleek plastic bottle with a spray pump and a plastic cap to secure it  . The bottle is light weight and travel friendly because of its compact size . The Rose Facial water is clear and colorless/carries no colorants (like some commercial rose water brands which sell pink colored rose water )  .

It  gives a soothing and refreshing feeling when I spritz it on my face . Also ,  I like to store my bottle in the refrigerator for an added cooling effect .  I really like the very mild , natural fragrance of roses (which does not scream chemicals) it has . It sinks into my skin quickly without leaving behind any sticky or greasy film .

On most days I like to use this after washing my face as It does provide slight hydration to my Combination  skin . It takes away that stretchy feel  which is left post washing face . But if you have dry skin , you may not find it very hydrating .  Sometimes I also use this to mix in my dry face packs . I also like to spray this facial water after using compact powder to get a natural dewy finish .

Rose Water is an excellent option for toning the skin if you prefer chemical free toners . However , on my Combination Skin I don’t see any visible effects on the pores as such after using this . I am just fond of the refreshing feel I get from spraying this on my face . My friend who recommended this to me has dry skin and she swears by this product . So may be this is better suited for ladies with normal-dry skin . I guess , My sensitive , acne prone combination skin certainely needs more chemicals to stay in good condition .

Overall , I like this Facial Water and I definetly see myself repurchasing this .

  • Feels Gentle and Refreshing on my skin
  • Mild and Natural Fragrance of roses
  • Easy to use and carry spray packaging
  • Provides slight hydration
  • Does not leave behind any greasy residue
  • Contains no alcohol/chemicals

Cons of Fabindia Rose Facial Water

  • Not very hydrating/moisturising
  • No Visible results on pores
  • Availability is an issue with Fab India products
  • The Brand has increased the price from Rs.175 to Rs. 390 ( More than double ) now for the same 100 ML quantity . The packaging is also slightly different now .

My Rating : 3.5 on 5

My Recommendation :

Fabindia Rose Facial Water is a decent rose water in my opinion . I like the soothing , refreshing feel  I get after spritzing this on my skin . It also takes away the dry stretchy feel left on the skin after washing .  For my Combination skin , it provides just the right amount of hydration I need but if you have dry skin you may not like it that much  . The sleek packaging also makes it very travel friendly . I would definitely recommend and re purchase this .
