Garnier HYDRABOMB Ultra Hydrating Tissue Chamomile, Pomegranate and Green Tea Masks Review
Hello gals! Hope you all had a great week! The weather is getting a little better here in Melbourne, so we might head out with the baby this weekend. Am bored of getting stuck in the house for so many months. Can’t wait for summers to arrive, but it seems winter is here to stay for a couple of more weeks! 😒
Anyways, Today I have the Garnier SkinActive HYDRABOMB Masks under my scanner. I grabbed all 3 variants back in May, yet it took me so long to actually give these a try! Let’s find out if I am impressed with these sheet masks or not!
The variants I am about to review are:
Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Soothing Tissue Mask Pink Chamomile (Dry / Sensitive Skin)
Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Rebalancing Tissue Mask Blue Pomegranate (Normal / Dehydrated Skin)
Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Rejuvenating Tissue Mask Green Tea (Normal / Combination Skin)
Price: AUD 4.99 per sheet mask

Unfold the mask. Carefully apply the white tissue to thoroughly cleaned skin. Make sure that the blue protective film is facing outwards. Smooth the mask gently to ensure contact with the skin. Remove the protective film. Adjust the mask to the contours of the face. Leave for 15 minutes while you sit back and relax! To remove the mask, slowly peel from the edges. Gently massage the excess formula into the skin or remove with a clean cotton pad.
My Experience with Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Tissue Masks:
Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Tissue Masks come in the usual sheet mask type packaging. A sealed pouch containing one single sheet of mask drenched in hydrating serum. The garnier sheet mask is different with one minute detail. It has a protective green cover over the sheet mask for easy handling.
All three variants of Garnier Hydrabomb sheet masks had enough serum in the pouch to actually get two uses out of it. I was sad to throw out the excess serum. 😕It says 15 minutes on the pack, but I had these on for half an hour and the sheet still felt wet while removing.
The fit of these Garnier Hydrabomb Tissue Mask is good. I have a small face, so I am not sure if the fitting would be good on big faces. Especially the eye holes being on the smaller side.
Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Soothing Tissue Mask Chamomile (Dry / Sensitive Skin) :
This Chamomile was the first one I tried. While it was hydrating, I did not notice any change in my skin. The serum was too sticky for my liking. So I washed my face with plain water after a couple of hours just to be done with that sticky feeling. I would recommend it to those with extremely dry skin.
Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Rebalancing Tissue Mask Pomegranate (Normal / Dehydrated Skin) :
Since my experience with the chamomile variant was not so good, I tried the pomegranate variant almost a month later and just before sleep so that I don’t have to roam around with a sticky face. To my surprise this mask was amazing! After about half an hour I removed it and massaged the remnant serum letting it sink into my skin overnight. My skin definitely had a beautiful glow next morning and the dry patches around my nose and mouth looked much better. I also noticed a slight change in the appearance of my pores. All in all I was super happy with this Pomegranate variant of sheet mask. Will definitely repurchase this and recommend to everyone. 🙂
Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Rejuvenating Tissue Mask Green Tea (Normal / Combination Skin) :
After having had a good experience with the Pomegranate sheet mask, I was really looking forward to try the last green tea variant that I had with me. However this green tea tissue mask performed just average on me. It was hydrating like the last two, but I did not notice any immediate result other than this.

My Rating: 3 out of 5 for Chamomile and Green Tea sheet mask ; 4.5 out of 5 for Pomegranate variant
My Recommendation: Overall, I would say these Garnier SkinActive Hydrabomb Ultra Hydrating Tissue masks are good if you are looking for hydration. Also it is a good idea to use these just before bed so that the serum get the maximum time to get absorbed. Other than the Pomegranate variant, these did not perform as per my expectation. There are better options available as far as sheet masks go at the same price tag. Try only if you really want to.
