My take on The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation-
The foundation comes in a sturdy glass bottle with a black pump dispenser and a tight black cap. I hate the way the black part gets messy with my fingerprints & foundation smears 🙁 The bottle looks sturdy enough for travel but I never take the risk & pour some out in a small pot while travelling.
The foundation has a lovely lightweight texture justifying its fresh nude name & it is very easy to apply both with a brush or fingers. It takes no effort at all to blend it in & skin instantly looks luminous, fresh & radiant.
The coverage is medium-buildable & does not look cakey even with a second layer 🙂 It is breathable & extremely lightweight to suit all skint types & skin looks smoothed out & even with less noticeable flaws <3 It works great on my combination-dry skin & does not look patchy or make skin look/feel drier. My skin looks radiant & healthy without looking made up.
The foundation has an immediate cooling effect on my skin as soon as I put it on (thanks to amazing ingredients like aloe vera & rose water) & lasts on my skin throughout the day till I take it off without melting/settling into face lines. For very oily skin though, I think a little setting powder would be a good idea.
Strangely, the foundation has a very lovely soothing fresh fragrance which is slightly rosey & I love how it lingers for sometime.
Pros of The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation:
1> Lightweight, fluid texture- very easy to apply & blend.
2> Skin looks evened out, radiant & healthy without looking made up.
3> Lightly hydrates my skin through the day & does not aggravate my sensitive skin,
4> Has a lovely cooling sensation when applied 🙂
5> Medium-buildable coverage, looks & feels fresh & smooth on skin.
6> Has SPF 15 🙂
7> Lasts on my skin through the entire day.
Cons of The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation:
The packaging gets very messy & dirty within a few uses :(- also, it is not travel friendly being a glass bottle.
Swatch of The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation-
My Rating: 4.7/5!
Do I recommend The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation?
The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation is a lightweight luminous foundation to even out skin generally & making it look radiant & fresh 🙂 I do not have much issues with spots/pigmentation yet so I love this sort of medium coverage foundations! It has the goodness of aloe vear, rose water, feels very soothing & cool on skin & comes with sun protection! I have been using this non-stop & highly recommend it.
