Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Replenishing Conditioner Review & Swatch-
Hey pretties 🙂
I picked up both the Palmer’s olive oil formula shampoo & conditioner up for my husband who was complaining of very dry, rough hair & have already reviewed the shampoo here. I am now reviewing its sister conditioner to let you guys know how this fares to smoothen hair.
What Palmer’s Says-
Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Replenishing Conditioner’s incredibly rich formula smoothes out frizzy hair, increases moisture levels and softens tight curls. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is combined with Soybean Oil and Keratin Amino Acids to protect the hair from environmental aggressors and hot styling tools. Hair becomes shinier with extra bounce, softer and less frizzy and easier to style.
- Repairs dry and frizzy hair
- Olive oil improves hair texture
- Cleanses hair thoroughly
- Makes hair smooth and manageable
Extra Virgin Olive Oil: contains naturally occurring vitamins and minerals which act as antioxidants protecting hair and skin from damaging free radicals.
Vitamin E: aides in hair’s natural ability to repair damage, an essential step in the process of strengthening the follicle that allows hair to grow long and healthy
Keratin: replenishes lost keratin in damaged hair, helping to strengthen and repair hair
Price: 450/- INR for 250 ml.
My take on the Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Replenishing Conditioner-
The conditioner smartly, comes in a far more convenient packaging than the sister shampoo. It comes in a long, sturdy tube with a olive-green flip-top cap. User friendly & travel friendly as well since the tube is quite sleek.
The conditioner is pale green in color with a thick creamy, almost balm like consistency & it needs a bit of massaging into damp hair to spread it properly through since it has almost no slip to it. I keep it on my hair for 4-5 minutes as instructed & wash it off to find my hair feeling hydrated & soft.
After my hair dries, it feels lovely, hydrated & soft with even my dry ends looking smooth & controls my frizz to a large extent 🙂 It also tames my husband’s rough dry hair very well without feeling greasy/heavy on him. He also used it on his scalp *something I never do* but he said it did not aggravate his dandruff so that’s good 😀
This just like the shampoo, makes my thin hair go greasy faster over the next couple of days as compared to any other lighter conditioner & that is the only slight con for me. I have even used it as a mask before shampooing & really liked how smooth & soft my hair felt.
The conditioner has the same olive fragrance like the shampoo, but thankfully much milder & does not linger at all.
Pros of the Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Replenishing Conditioner:
1> Convenient, sleek tube packaging with flip-top cap.
2> Very thick creamy consistency- only a little amount is needed.
3> Leaves behind no greasy/slippery feeling.
4> Hydrates hair very well & controls frizz, especially for dry unruly hair.
5> Free from harmful chemicals.
Cons of the Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Replenishing Conditioner:
Makes my hair greasy faster just like the shampoo.
On the pricier side.
Swatch of the Palmer’s Olive Oil Formula Replenishing Conditioner-
My Rating: 4.5/5!
