Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water Review & Demo-
Hey my lovelies!
Bioderma micellar water has been my staple makeup remover ever since it was launched here & I have been repurchasing it ever since while hoping Garnier India launches the so very hyped micellar water which is a dupe of Bioderma as everybody says at a much cheaper price. Well, finally they are here! They have launched 2 variants here (I will review both not to worry!) & I pounced them on Nykaa as soon as they dropped. I will be reviewing the oil-infused cleansing water today ^_^
What Garnier Says-
The 1st oil infused Micellar Cleansing Water, powerful at removing makeup, even waterproof yet surprisingly gentle on skin. For the 1st time, Garnier combined its Micellar Technology with nourishing Argan Oil. The Micelles capture and lift away residue like a magnet, while the oils dissolve traces of make-up and nourishes the skin. Result: Skin is perfectly clean, nourished and comfortable.
- All-in-1 Cleanser & Makeup Remover.
- Cleanses + removes makeup + refreshes skin.
- No rinse, no harsh rubbing.
- Ideal for face, lips, and eyes.
Price: 225/- INR for 125 ml & 399/- INR for 400 ml.
My take on the Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water-
The packaging is lovely in a clear sturdy plastic bottle with a white flip-top cap 🙂 It comes in 2 sizes so both easy to use & carry around.
The micellar water has 2 separate layers with the yellowish oil layer floating on top & you need to shake both to get a slightly cloudy fluid. The texture is non-greasy, non-sticky & watery & I loved how mild & gentle it felt on my parched, dry skin.
Though it is meant for waterproof makeup, at first swipe, it just manages to dislodge the clingy waterproof formulas while it does remove normal makeup in a single go. I had to go 2-3 times over my kajal, mascara & waterproof lip color before it finally managed to remove them cleanly but I did not have to pull/tug so I am pretty okay with it!
After makeup removal, my skin felt soft, supple & fresh without any oily residue & I loved how hydrated & clean my skin felt & looked. So the no-rinse part rung true in case of my dry skin & the dry weather. For oily skins though, rinsing might be required.
It did not break my sensitive skin out or irritate it in any manner & I love it to the extent where I have been using it on a cotton pad as my daytime cleanser daily ^_^
The micellar water has a soft, powdery lovely fragrance which I love!
Pros of the Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water:
- Sturdy & convenient packaging with a flip-top cap.
- Watery, non-greasy texture- very mild on skin.
- Removes light makeup instantly & waterproof makeup in 2-3 swipes.
- Skin feels soft, supple, hydrated & fresh.
- No rinsing required since I have dry skin.
- Does not aggravate my sensitive skin.
- Has a lovely soft fragrance.
Cons of the Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water:
None at all for me!

Do I recommend the Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water?
Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water is an oil-infused micellar water, the first I have tried actually & I have been loving it to bits- so much so that when I feel lazy & cold in the mornings, I just swipe across my face with a cotton pad saturated with this lovely water & boom! Instant freshness & clean skin! It removes stubborn makeup in 2-3 swipes while being extremely gentle on skin & I couldn’t ask for more. Definitely recommended!
