Clarins Face Contouring Palette Review & Swatch-
One my recent Europe tour I got loads of makeup products from the duty free shops! Clarins is one of the most “traditional” brands of Paris. Their products are expensive than the other luxurious brands but they are totally worth the money. Not only they have a luxurious packaging but the quality of the products is excellent. After all who doesn’t love French beauty!
Today I will be reviewing their Face Contouring Palette. This one is good for beginners as well as for people who are pro with contouring. Read on to find out my review on this product from Clarins, Paris.
What Clarins Says:
Three long-lasting powders for all skin tones leave your complexion luminous, features defined and cheekbones sculpted with subtle touches of shadow and light. A highlighter helps to create depth, a deep shade contours and a soft rose blush casts a healthy-looking glow. The angular brush gives you precision control for natural-looking results.
Price: $41 for 15 gm.
My take on the Clarins Face Contouring Palette-
First of this is a limited edition product which makes it extra special. The product comes in red colored box, which is a typical packaging of all Clarins products. It comes in one universal shade. The three unique shades come in a metallic gold compact box. There is an angular brush which comes along with the palette. The box is sturdy, looks classy and totally fit for travelling purpose.
The three shades that it comes in are a light beige highlighter, a medium toned brown contour shade, and a dusky rose pink blush. All the three colors are quite unique and their application becomes super easy with the perfectly angled brush. One more impressive thing about the product is that it comes with a leaflet which gives step wise step information on how to apply the palette correctly. So it becomes easy for beginners to use.
The texture is creamy and a bit powdery, but is very smooth to apply. It gives a matte finish which lasts all day! For daily use a single stroke of all the three shades is enough but for a more chiseled look one can apply more amount of the brown shade. The formula is very light and I feel like I am literally wearing nothing on my face.
Overall I think Clarins has finally entered into the contouring race by launching their limited edition palette. Since there is one universal shade, swatch test is very much recommended.
Pros of the Clarins Face Contouring Palette:
- Smooth and creamy texture.
- Blends easily.
- Matte finish
- Lasts all day long.
- Comes with a step wise manual; good for beginners.
- Elegant and sturdy packaging.
- Ideal for both daily and party look.
- Perfect for all skin types.
Cons of the Clarins Face Contouring Palette:
- Only one shade available.

My Rating: 4.5/5!
Do I recommend the Clarins Face Contouring Palette?
The major problem with this product is that it comes in one universal shade which is basically designed for French skin. The shade may not suit all Indian skin tone that is why I highly recommend trying this one out before buying. If you are lucky to find the match then surely you won’t regret spending money on this Clarins Face Contouring Palette!
