Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique Review & Swatch-
Hello lovelies 🙂
After finishing up my fluidissime leave in spray from Kerastase, I was on the lookout for something stronger to battle my increasing frizz (as my keratin treatment wore off gradually) & the stylist at Toni & Guy suggested this Ciment Thermique blow drying milk which can be used both as a natural leave-in or before blow drying to speed it up & protect hair. Read on to know how it fared!
What Kerastase Says-
Kérastase Resistance Ciment Thermique (150ml) repairs and protects hair with its heat activated properties. The best-selling leave-in milk contains the brand’s trademark formula Vita-Ciment® Topseal, working to strengthen and rebuild hair from the inside out whilst also repairing the outer layer leaving a protective topcoat.
Providing protection from the moment heat reaches the hair, heated styling is made guilt-free, leaving a smooth and shiny finish for healthier looking and feeling locks. Proven to speed up your blow-dry by half the time, Kérastase research shows users of the Thermique Cremes experience up to 87% less breakage.
Directions for use:
- Smooth through lengths and ends of towel dried hair.
- Detangle with a wide-toothed comb and dry as normal.
Price: 2200/- INR in India & 22.90 GBP in UK for 150 ml
My take on the Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique-
The packaging is the most convenient of the leave-in products I have used from Kerastase! It comes in a mint blue plastic tube with a screw-on cap & a nozzle dispenser. It is hygienic, easy to carry & user- friendly 🙂 It did not leak during my long journey to UK.
The product is a hybrid gel-cream sort of texture, white in color & for my medium length, fine hair I need a tiny little bit to smooth along my hair ends & lengths before letting my hair dry naturally. It gets absorbed instantly without any greasy/tacky feel.
After my hair dries, it feels & looks oh-so-amazing 😀 😀 Most of my frizz is totally gone, my hair looks healthier than ever, soft & smooth even & has some lift & bounce without being weighed down or falling flat at all! It even works better than my elixir ultime as a leave-in serum!
I did try this out here before blow drying my hair & my hair took 10 minutes flat to dry completely I swear! And of course, looked even better when I blow-dried & lasted for 3 entire days before my hair looked horrible again 😛
The ciment thermique has a very strong, overwhelming citrusy tangerine sort of fragrance which lingers on & on! I do get along with it but most will find it very overwhelming I think 😐
Pros of the Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique:
1> Very travel & user friendly, sleek, plastic tube packaging 🙂
2> Lightweight gel-cream texture, melts & gets absorbed easily.
3> No tacky/greasy feel on hair.
4> After drying, hair looks marvelously healthy, soft & shiny <3
5> Cuts down magically on frizz!
6> Speeds up blow drying a lot & prolongs the style.
7> I like its citrusy strong fragrance 😀
Cons of the Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique:
Nothing at all! It delivers every claim.
Swatch of the Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique-
My Rating: 5/5!
Do I recommend the Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique?
Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique is the best leave-in serum if you have very dull, frizzy hair which mostly gets totally out of control! It cuts down on almost all the frizz, smoothens & softens hair, makes it look healthier than ever & of course, protects while blow drying! A definite buy if you need a leave-in serum for thin, frizzy hair <3
