Forest Essentials Activating Serum Rasa Review & Swatch-
Hey my pretties!
As mentioned in my last post, I had picked up the Rasa & Balancing Water Tejal duo from Forest Essentials to incorporate in my skincare routine & have been using them both religiously for the last month every morning after cleansing my skin. Let’s see how the activating serum fared on my skin!
What Forest Essentials Says-
Rasa Activating Serum is a boost of hydration that balances, stimulates and rejuvenates the skin.Applied immediately after cleansing, this lightweight serum effectively permeates the skin to deliver a hydrating blend of active botanicals. Inspired by the ancient Indian ritual of Ushapana, which means the first drink of early morning water as the life giving nectar of life. The Sanskrit term Rasa translates to inner “essence” an intricate process of contemplative abstraction in which energy suffuses surrounding form, and is precisely how this magical serum works its transformation on the skin.
Charged with brightening Mulethi, cell turnover boosting Priyngu seed ,hydrating Neel Kamal seed and glycolic acid rich Sweet Potato extract, Rasa Activating Serum leaves the skin exceptionally buoyant, smooth and radiant.
How to Use:
Add a few drops of the Rasa serum to your palms and begin rubbing them together to generate warmth for an ideal medium.
Gently begin application by patting the Serum onto forehead, chin, cheeks and neck with hands
For best effects on your screen, use “Tejal Balancing water“ after application of Rasa Activating Serum.
The result is restored balance of skin that optimizes efficacy of the skin care regime that follows, for a youthful, resilient complexion, at any age and for any skin type.
Orange Peel Extract, Sweet Potato derived Hyaluronic acid, Bael (Aegle marmelos), Neel Kamal (Lotus), Aqua, Barley Root extract, Litchi extract, Walnut Shell extract.
Price: 2750/- INR for 30 ml.
My take on the Forest Essentials Activating Serum Rasa-
The serum comes in a pastel blue luxurious dark tinted plastic bottle with a screw-on dropper lid 🙂 Travel friendly, user friendly & luxurious– it ticks all the boxes properly <3
The serum is golden in color with a very runny consistency. It indeed is like the first drink of water for the skin & no matter how hot or humid the weather is outside, it sinks into skin like magic within seconds & simply disappears without any tacky residue 🙂
I like it a wee bit more than the Tejal toner since it is even more lightweight & can be mixed with any tinted moisturizer or foundation easily which gives a healthy, hydrated finish to skin without any oiliness or greasiness.
I do notice my skin looking soothed & rested & any stretchiness is immediately gone 🙂 I always apply a few drops onto my face & neck before following it up with Tejal & I do love the combination on my skin for a burst of weightless moisture & supple, radiant skin.
The serum has a very slight orange-ish herbal fragrance which is hardly discernible & fades in moments without disturbing sensitive noses or skins.
Rasa has not broken me out or aggravated my sensitive skin in any way & I do like how my skin is prepped for moisturizer or makeup.
Pros of the Forest Essentials Activating Serum Rasa:
1> Luxurious, travel & user friendly packaging with dropper.
2> Very liquidy, lightweight texture which gets instantly absorbed into skin.
3> Skin immediately gets a burst of weightless hydration & feels supple & soft.
4> Followed with Tejal, the duo is perfect for hydrating & soothing all skin types.
5> Impressive list of ingredients.
6> Does not aggravate sensitive skin.
Cons of the Forest Essentials Activating Serum Rasa:
Pricey of course.
Swatch of the Forest Essentials Activating Serum Rasa-
My Rating: 4.6/5!
