Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam Review & Swatch-
I have been using a lot of Korean Skincare products since the last two years and I am really impressed with their top notch quality and efficacy on the skin . Previously I have tried and reviewed the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Cleanser , which is an amazing cleanser for Oily Combination skin . So I thought next I should give some other variant a try . I picked this particular Olive Cleansing foam particularly for my winter skin (which is more on the drier side as compared to summers ) . I am sharing my thoughts on this cleanser today , keep reading to find out whether it worked for my skin or not ..

My take on the Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam-
The Cleanser comes in a convenient to use , moss/olive green coloured , tube packaging with a flip cap . The tube is however slightly bulky which makes it slightly travel unfriendly .
The cleanser has a thick , creamy , pearlescent sort of formula .I really like the mild, pleasant and citrusy fragrance this has.
I need only a pea sized quantity of this for each use . It foams up well creating a very smooth foam . I like to massage a little with the foam before washing it off . It is pretty easy to wash off and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue . As an immediate effecty skin looks smooth , bright , well cleaned with a soft glow . I also like that it doesn’t dry out my skin leaving it stretchy or uncomfortable .
But the Good part of this cleanser of this cleanser ends for me here . When I used it for the first time I noticed a few tiny , red rashes and bumps along my jawline . I ignored them thinking they could be because of the weather change or some temporary hormonal imbalance . I continued using this cleanser and my skin went from bad to worse . Only when I stopped using this cleanser my skin started healing . I still wanted to give this cleanser another fair chance so decided to use this again after an interval of 2 months . But to my horror it reacted the same way on my skin and wrecked it again . I reached the Innisfree team regarding this issue and all they could tell me was that their products contain natural ingredients which can sometimes be unsuitable for sensitive skin . I am definitely not using or repurchasing this cleanser again . I can always repurchase the Jeju Volcanic Cleanser instead from this brand but not this particular Olive Real Cleansing Variant . I would not recommend this to anyone with problematic or sensitive skin . If you have normal to dry skin you can still consider this but do try a sample before getting a full sized tube.
Pros of the Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam:
- Creates a smooth , silky foam
- Very little quantity is required for each wash , so one tube will last you really long
- Amazing citrusy fragrance
- Cleans the skin really well without overseeing it
- Convenient to use tube packaging
Cons of the Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam:
- Didn’t not suit my sensitive skin , caused skin irritation which took a long time to heal
Swatch of the Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam-
My Rating: 2.5/5!
Do I recommend the Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam?
Innisfree Olive Real Cleansing Foam is a Good option if you have normal /non problematic and non sensitive skin . It cleanses the skin really well leaving it soft , smooth with a slight glow without stripping off moisture from the skin. I had really high expectations from this one , since I had totally enjoyed the Innisfree Jeju Volcanic cleanser but sadly this one wrecked my skin really bad . Not recommended for sensitive skin .
