Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask Review & Swatch-
Moroccanoil hair products always seem to work for my fine, dry, fussy hair- their serum, their shampoos & conditioners but I had never tried their very famous hair masks & picked up the weightless hydrating mask on my last salon visit in Pune after a haircut targeted at fine, dry hair 🙂

My take on the Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask-
The mask comes in a huge & ungainly round plastic turquoise tub with a screw-on white lid & a plastic protector beneath. It is neither easy to use nor carry & I hate dipping my fingers in every single time :-/
The mask is white in color with a medium thick, quite rich & creamy texture which is very easy to spread on damp, washed hair.I try to leave it on as long as possible and then wash it off thoroughly. The first time I used it, my hair felt so soft and hydrated I was super sure it was going to weigh down my fine scanty hair but after air drying, I stared at my hydrated bouncy locks and noticed my frizz was cut down to a large extent as well without weighing down my hair at all!
The hydrating effect does last for a couple of days until my next hair wash & thankfully does not make my scalp greasy faster than usual as with most masks! It has not increased/decreased my hair fall.
The mask has the same signature moroccanoil fragrance- musky, sweet & sexy & it lingers in hair for at least a couple of days 😀
Pros of the Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask:
- Light, yet creamy texture ensures it spreads easily on damp hair and is easy to wash off.
- Did not weigh down my fine hair at all 😀
- Cut down my frizz to a large extent and hydrated my hair beautifully.
- Fragrance is lovely, heady & musky & lingers in hair for ages.
- Only a little amount is needed per application so this huge tub is gonna last me ages!
Cons of the Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask:
Hate the inconvenient & bulky tub packaging 😐
Swatch of the Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask-
My Rating: 4.7/5!
Do I recommend the Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask?
Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask in spite of being so steeply priced, is a boon for fine, dry haired people like me who hit dead ends with most hair masks they try out- either hair tends to fall flat when hydrated or the masks do nothing at all. This is targeted at dry hair with a thin texture & does live up to the claims! Recommended!
