L’Oréal Elvive Phytoclear 1 Minute Exfoliating Scrub Review-
Hey there pretties!
I have previously reviewed a scalp scrub from L’Oreal sometime last year when a friend brought it over from USA & it was a saviour for both me & the husband who battle regularly with greasy scalps, build up & dandruff. I got a similar counterpart here in UK from their Phytoclear range called the 1 minute shampoo scrub & picked it up for similar results. Let’s see if it worked!
What L’Oreal Says-
On wet hair, before shampooing, apply the purifying scrub onto the scalp, section by section, until entirely covered.
Gently massage the scalp for 1 minute before rinsing thoroughly.
Follow with a Phytoclear Anti-Dandruff shampoo.
Usage not recommended on sensitive scalp.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately and thoroughly.

My take on the L’Oréal Elvive Phytoclear 1 Minute Exfoliating Scrub-
The scrub comes in a dark leafy green sturdy plastic tub with a screw-on lid. It is both easy to use & carry around since the tub is quite compact & leak-proof.
The scrub is a pale jade green jelly with lots of dark brown exfoliating granules suspended in it. I wet my hair & scoop out the jelly like scrub to massage it gently all over my scalp, concentrating more on the problem areas. It does not spread very easily & you do need quite a large amount to cover the entire scalp following which there is an instant cooling sensation on the scalp 🙂
The beads are quite mild in nature & do a decent job of exfoliation without hurting the scalp or resulting in any hair fall due to mechanical stress 🙂 I usually massage it & keep it on for 3-4 minutes after which I rinse it off which does take some effort & scalp feels light & clean.
I follow this scrub with my usual shampoo-conditioner routine & from the very 1st use I noticed that my scalp felt much calmer, less itchy & did not have the usual build-up or greasiness even a couple of days after shampooing 🙂 If you do not continue to use the scrub though, scalp reverts to normal so consistency is a must!
The fragrance of the scrub is very fresh, minty & lovely identical to the phytoclear shampoo & I love the overall feeling of minty freshness on my scalp & in my bathroom 😀 It does not linger though.
Pros of the L’Oréal Elvive Phytoclear 1 Minute Exfoliating Scrub:
1> Sturdy, user friendly tub packaging with a screw-on lid.
2> Scalp feels instantly cooled & soothed upon application 🙂
3> Mild yet effective exfoliation- scalp feels light & fresh <3
4> Build-up & greasiness is kept at bay along with itchiness of scalp.
5> Fresh, minty fragrance which I love!
Cons of the L’Oréal Elvive Phytoclear 1 Minute Exfoliating Scrub:
Effect is not very long-lasting
My Rating: 4.5/5!

L’Oréal Elvive Phytoclear 1 Minute Exfoliating Scrub is a necessary step in the shampoo-conditioner routine of people like us with very sensitive scalps prone to dandruff, buildup & itchiness.
