Lush Sleepy Body Lotion Review

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion Review & Swatch-

Hello lovely ladies 🙂

If you have had a baby, I am sure you are no stranger to the restless, sleepless nights when you are up half the time feeding or putting the babies back to sleep :-/ So when I ran out of my last body lotion, I decided to purchase the very famous Sleepy body lotion from Lush which everybody raves about that it helps to induce a peaceful sleep.

What Lush Says-

You’ll sleep well after dipping into this dreamy lotion, made with a gentle oatmeal infusion, calming lavender flower and comfortingly sweet tonka absolute. A rich, malty and floral perfume conjures up visions of sugar plums and hot drinks topped with whipped cream while the heavenly ministrations of creamy Fair Trade organic cocoa butter and delicate lavender water cool and enrich the skin. Blanket your body in this lovely lotion before stepping into soft pyjamas for snuggly nights beside the fire.

My take on the Lush Sleepy Body Lotion-

The lotion comes in a typical matte black Lush pot with a screw-on lid which is consistent with the brand & in spite of my dislike of open jar packaging, I do still love the familiar Lush packaging. It is both easy to use & carry since it comes in 3 different sizes.

The lotion is lavender in colour, medium thick in texture with a lovely creamy consistency which does take some massaging to get fully absorbed into skin without any tacky or greasy feel 🙂 I love how instantly hydrated & soft my skin looks & feels & it is my go to body lotion in this colder weather.

he lotion hydrates my skin so very well & I never have to reapply on the days I use this after my shower <3 It keeps my skin hydrated & soft all day long & never leaves any traces on clothes 🙂 I only need a tiny bit for each use & it instantly soothes my legs and arms after epilating or shaving.

The fragrance is mmmmm..so dreamy, so sweet yet not headache inducing, a beautiful mixture of lavender & vanilla which feels so cozy & warm & comforting 🙂 It made me purchase the sister body spray called Twilight & I layer them both for long lasting beautiful fragrance & soft, supple skin & dare I say? Better & peaceful sleep ^_^

Pros of the Lush Sleepy Body Lotion:

1> Convenient & travel friendly sturdy Lush tub packaging.

2> The lotion is deliciously rich & very creamy  but still easy to apply & massage in.

3> No heavy residue/feeling on skin.

4> Provides amazing hydration for my very dry skin & makes skin healthy & supple.

5> No need to reapply.

6> Natural ingredients.

7> Amazing long lasting soothing vanilla lavender fragrance.

Cons of the Lush Sleepy Body Lotion:

My Rating: 5/5!

Do I recommend the Lush Sleepy Body Lotion?

Lush Sleepy Body Lotion is a cult favorite for many so much so that Lush was forced to make it permanent instead of a limited holiday edition & I can see why! There is a bath bomb, a shower gel, a body spray & this lotion which all smell the same & I am keen on picking up the rest 😛 Highly recommended!
