Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Review & Swatch-
Everyone knows Charlotte Tilbury for their cult “Pillow Talk” lipstick & liner & it was those which I had in mind to pick up when I was browsing their products but ended up getting something else altogether because the reviews are soo good & because, well, when you are a new mom, you need something to make you glow-lots of it. The shade I have is the No 3 in Light/Medium.
What Charlotte Tilbury Says-
Another winning concoction from one of our all-time favourite make up brands, Hollywood Flawless Filter is unlike anything else in our (extensive) collective make up bag. Applying it is like adding a digital filter to a photograph – it instantly ‘lifts’ your complexion, erasing imperfections and imparting glowing radiance. Combining these filter-like perfecting properties with the blurring benefits of your favourite primer and the mega-watt glow of a highlighter, this luscious liquid imparts a dewy, soft-focus finish, illuminating skin in an instant. The magic behind the make up starts with Charlotte Tilbury’s ‘airbrush polymers’ and finely milled powders, which smooth over fine lines and pores, minimising their appearance for a flawless effect. As well as this, porcelain flower extract (rich in antioxidants and derived from a delicate Thai flower) brightens skin beautifully. You can mix it with your best base products or use it under, over or instead of foundation, or dotted onto the areas you want to glow the brightest.

My take on the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter-
The packaging is very convenient in spite of it being a transparent glass bottle. The applicator is a large doe foot wand type which is great for applying the product as a highlighter. I hate pumps in these type of products since they always dispense a lot more product than required & that leads to wastage. It is not very travel friendly though since the bottle is too big for most makeup bags.
The texture is medium thick & liquidy but very lightweight & I haven’t had any problems with greasy/sticky residue even on warmer days. It blends like a dream on its own or mixed with any foundation/base & gives the impression of amazingly glowy, naturally healthy skin.
It is the perfect highlighter for those who prefer a natural glow over others like me who like their highlighters to be, well sorrt of highlight-y 😛 I don’t want my highlighter to be spotted from the moon fine but I do like it when the my non-existent cheekbones catch the light properly ^_^ That said, I do use this as a highlighter on the high points of my face in the summer when too much glow might look oily & this makes skin look flawless, glowing without any greasy telltale signs.
The shade I have is Number 3 in Light/Medium (they have an impressive 7 shades catering to the fairest to duskiest skintone) & it is perfect for my NW25/NC30 skin. I love the way they have so many different shades which is the basic reason this product renders the natural, healthy skin glow.
It lasts on my skin quite long in spite of being a liquid product and I was really impressed when I came back home after a long hectic day and could still see the glow<3
It did not aggravate or break my sensitive skin out in any way & it is fragrance free.
Pros of the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter:
1> Sturdy transparent bottle with a very nice wand like applicator for ease of use.
2> Lightweight & very easy to blend- looks like second skin.
3> Can be used in multiple ways- highlight, primer, pore filler, tinted moisturiser.
4> Makes skin look beautifully radiant & glowing in a natural, healthy way.
5> Does not spread, melt or move about on skin.
6> Did not aggravate my sensitive skin in any way.
7> Comes in 7 different shades for all skin tones.
Cons of the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter:
Glass bottle is not very travel friendly.
Swatch of the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter-
My Rating: 4.8/5!
Do I recommend the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter?
Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter is kind of like the Becca liquid highlighters, very similar in fact but it multitasks even more than the Becca one & I sometimes put this on my entire face over sunblock & my skin looks well rested, glowing & naturally so. This is one of my trick products after being a hassled new mom when I rarely have time for taking proper care of my skin.I do prefer this one more simply because of the wide range of shades which make it look more natural on skin.
