Ouai Hair Oil Review & Swatch-
Hello my lovelies 🙂
I finished off most of the hair serums I had brought back from India with me since I now have quite long & drier hair-also, my husband steals them practically everyday so you can’t blame me for running out! I am sure all of you have heard of Jen Atkin who is a celebrity hairstylist to the likes of all the Kardashians & other A-listers & her haircare line is called Ouai haircare which has already launched in India I believe 😀 I picked up her serum during a Christmas sale & have been using it since.
What Ouai Says-
From celebrity coiffeuse Jen Atkin – responsible for maintaining the manes of Klan Kardashian, Gigi Hadid and Gwen Stefani (to name a few) – OUAI’s Hair Oil is ultra-lightweight to seal ends, enhance shine and protect from heat-styling without adding weight to fine hair types. Suitable for all lengths and textures, this is enriched with ‘OUAI Smart Technology’ – a cocktail of nourishing ingredients including amino acids, tamarind seed, keratin, ama oil, hibiscus and jasmine to strengthen, enhance moisture levels, repair and protect from humidity – alongside borage oil, baobab and African galanga to prevent colour-fade and protect against photo-damage. Simply smooth through damp lengths, use to sleeken your pony, or apply overnight for an intensive treatment.

My take on the Ouai Hair Oil-
The hair oil comes in a very sleek & convenient sturdy plastic transparent bottle with a white pump & nozzle long with a tight cap.
The oil is colorless with a very runny almost watery texture- it is very easy to spread on to the hair whether wet or dry 🙂 For my fine hair, I only need a pump each time I use it & it works very well to tame my unbearable frizz & pesky flyaways 🙂 It is completely non-oily/sticky & would work well for all hair types provided that you don’t go overboard with the amount.
As a pre-cleanse treatment, I sometimes smooth this on dry hair before I go to bed at night or a few hours before shampooing & my hair feels lovely & soft after washing & drying.
On rare occasions when I do blow dry my hair, this little bottle of miracle doubles up as a heat protectant as well & protects my hair as well as giving it softness & shine <3
The fragrance is a very mild pleasing floral which I wish lingered on my hair but sadly does not.
Pros of the Ouai Hair Oil:
1> Sleek, convenient bottle packaging with a useful pump & nozzle.
2> Runny, lightweight, watery texture which leaves behind no residue.
3> Tames frizz & pesky flyaways admirably.
4> Useful as a pre-cleanse as well as a heat protectant.
5> Mild, flowery fragrance.
Cons of the Ouai Hair Oil:
Might look a bit greasy if you go overboard.
Swatch of the Ouai Hair Oil-
My Rating: 4.7/5!
