Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner Review-
I always make sure to incorporate AHA/BHA in my skincare to chemically exfoliate my dead skin cells & promote cell renewal & as you all know by now, Pixi Glow Tonic is one of my all time favorites for the purpose. I recently started using a similar acid based toner from the famous brand Ole Henriksen which has recently been launched here in the UK, exclusively at Boots.
What Ole Henriksen Says-
This potent brightening toner, supercharged with a high concentration of AHAs (glycolic and lactic acids) and witch hazel water, reduces the look of dark spots in as little as 7 days. It also targets fine lines and wrinkles, and smoothes texture. But this powerhouse AHA toner has a soft side, too. Infused with sandalwood, chamomile and licorice extracts, it’s gentle enough for daily use. Tone post-cleansing for a skin-smoothing boost, and you’ll be perfectly prepped for serum and moisturizer. Plus, with its addictive lemon sugar scent and “it’s working!” tingle, you’ll be hooked from the very first swipe. Reveal a transformed, refined and youthful-looking Ole Glow®!.
Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycolic Acid, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Lactic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Polysorbate 20, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum/Fragrance, Phytic Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Glycerin, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Santalum Album (Sandalwood) Extract, Benzoic Acid, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Tocopherol, Citral, Limonene, Linalool.

My take on the Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner-
The toner comes in a brilliant blue sturdy plastic bottle with a white flip-top cap. It is quite easy to pour & use as well as to carry. So it ticks all the correct boxes.
The toner is colorless with a runny, watery texture & I saturate a cotton round with it & sweep gently across my face. It has no stinging or cooling feel & instead feels very mild, hydrating & instantly wipes off the remnant dirt & grime from the skin without stripping it in any way <3 My skin immediately feels smoother, softer without any stretchy/dry feel 🙂
Over the couple of months, I have seen my face looking brighter, without any physical exfoliation & the blackheads, whiteheads around my nose are largely reduced.
It does not irritate my sensitive skin in any way, though I do use it on alternate nights instead of regularly. It is not drying on my skin at all & skin looks & feels supple after using.
As for their claim of fading dark spots, I have honestly not seen much difference in my post acne or waxing scars with incorporating this in my regime.
The toner has a lovely fresh sugary lemon fragrance as claimed & it lingers for a few minutes after application.
Pros of the Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner:
1> Sturdy fuss free bottle packaging with flip-top cap 🙂
2> Mild, watery consistency- neither stripping nor heavy/greasy.
3> Skin immediately feels & looks smooth & soft <3
4> Radiance increases over time.
5> Does not aggravate or dry out my sensitive skin in any way.
6> Fresh sugar lemon fragrance.
Cons of the Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner:
Did not show much reduction in my spots as claimed.
My Rating: 4.6/5!
Do I recommend the Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner?
Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner is a nice soothing acid based toner which helps in chemical exfoliation of skin in a very gentle manner without aggravating dry, sensitive skin & results in faster cell renewal. I am liking it a lot as my fix of acid toner on alternate nights but would probably not repurchase since it did not blow me away. I still like my glow tonic more.
