Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum Review & Swatch-
Hello my pretties!
I have quite long hair now which is dry & frizzy towards the ends & in spite of braiding it before bed, it does get rough & damaged & even more frizzy when I wake up in the morning 😐 In an attempt to improvise the condition, I recently splurged on a night hair serum from Kerastase & have been loving it so far 🙂
What Kerastase Says-
This overnight leave-in serum gives a nourishing boost to all dry hair types. During the night, hair is prone to reverse the daytime loss by absorbing all of nutrients of you hair care. Infused with Iris Root extract and a blend of 5 vitamins including vitamin E, the serum deeply penetrates the fiber over 8 hours for 100% absorption to restore hair’s balanced nutrition levels. Its lightweight creamy texture suits all hair types: on fine hair it helps detangling and provides a better manageability on normal to coarse hair. Applied at night, hair progressively absorbs the nutrients of the nourishing serum to reverse daytime depletion. This milky-gel like cream melts into the hair to be quickly absorbed. The next morning, hair looks nourished and is visibly softer, easier to style, with a lightweight satin finish.
Treat hair to the nourishing properties of Kérastase Nutritive Night Repair, an eight-hour magic serum to help condition and replenish dry hair.
Working through the night while you sleep, the non-greasy hair serum delivers intensive overnight nourishment, blending Iris Root extract with a cocktail of five essential vitamins to leave hair feeling lightweight and luxuriously nourished with long-lasting effect. My take on the Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum-
The packaging is gorgeous, classy & somewhat inconvenient TBH! The serum comes in a very heavy graduated peach & maroon glass bottle with a pump & a cap which looks amazing on my bedside table but too heavy & cumbersome to travel with It doesn’t help either that this is the only size it comes in 😐
The serum is creamy peach in color with a gel-creme hybrid texture which melts into hair effortlessly without leaving even the slightest residue, even on my hands! I love how my dry, thirsty hair lengths & ends drink it up while feeling & looking weightless. It almost disappears in moments without the need to wait & tie my hair up & thankfully does not stain my pillow covers at all 🙂
When I wake up, my hair feels smooth, detangled & looks freaking amazing- shiny, glossy with almost no frizz :O I usually use this on 2nd day hair when I am used to seeing a crow’s nest on my head when I wake up :-/ But this works & how! I have given up oiling my hair for quite a long time now & was on the lookout for something like this to nourish & smoothen my fine hair without being heavy & this is it!
The serum does not make my scalp greasier, or aggravate my sensitive scalp, or increase/decrease hairfall 🙂 In short, it lives up to its claims of being essentially a night cream for hair which rejuvenates hair while you sleep.
The fragrance is simply divine as most Kerastase fragrances are- a subtle, soft spa-like fragrance which lingers for a long time & I get its wafts till the next morning.

Do I recommend the Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum?
Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum is a lovely night treatment for hair when you are too busy to either oil your hair properly or give it proper time & treatments (me, me & me). It is quite pricey but you only use a single pump at a time & I have been using it for a month without causing any dent in its level 🙂 I have been loving it & do recommend.
