Milk Makeup Lip+Cheek in “Werk” Review & Swatch-
Hey my pretties!
So I have been afraid of blushes forever. Like, I bought maybe a couple of MAC blushes several years back & each time I wore either, even blind people (my husband, then my boyfriend, my father etc)would ask if I have applied any colour to my face. Like ughhh. I have never worn blush since. It just doesn’t suit me, or maybe I cannot apply it properly. Dunno but I steer clear. But enter Lip+Cheek sticks from Milk Makeup & yeah, I am a convert. Read on for more.
What Milk Makeup Says-
Part lip tint, part blush, Milk Makeup’s multi-purpose Lip + Cheek is perfect for those who want glow on-the-go. 100% vegan and cruelty-free, this creamy colour glides on seamlessly, diffusing easily to lend a just-pinched flush or cute, just-bitten tint. With five shades to choose from – from berry-hued ‘Quickie’ to pale ‘Dusty Rose’ via neon pink ‘Swish’ – each colour builds effortlessly so you can transition from low-key to look-at-me drama whenever you crave some intensity. Infused with conditioning, vitamin-rich avocado oil, mango butter and peach nectar (but not a single paraben), the formula hydrates and lends a healthy dewy sheen. We’ll take five, to go.

My take on the Milk Makeup Lip+Cheek in “Werk”-
The packaging is cute, convenient & amazing! It comes in a cute chubby twist-up stick with a clear cap which make it possible to distinguish multiple shades & believe me, you should have multiples! It is very easy to carry & use.
The texture is smooth, lightweight & very buttery! It simply glides on skin from fingers & the natural butters present melt instantly to give a glowy, natural look & finish. If I am describing a blush as having a natural finish, take it as a gospel truth ^_^ My face looks naturally flushed & glowing & NOBODY asks me that dumb question.
The pigmentation is simply amazing & just a few pats on my cheeks are enough to give it a natural flush. The color is very buildable as well depending on how deep you want to go.
The shade I have is “Werk”- a natural rosy brown, a very safe, everyday wear color looking great on most skintones & complexions. And it truly does. My face looks rosy & flushed in a natural way, without making an effort way & I simply love it. On my lips, the color hardly comes out as it is the same shade more or less so I am going to get a darker shade next time 😛 Yes, there will be a next time for sure.
It does not aggravate my sensitive skin in any way & is fragrance free.
The staying power is great as well & easily lasts for 5-6 hours in spite of being such a naturals shade.
