Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Body Cream Review & Swatch-
Hello lovely ladies 🙂
In order to help me with my keratosis pilaris skin condition (reddish bumps on arms), I have been recently trying exfoliating my arms with acid based toners & lotions. Pixi Glow Tonic seemed to be working a bit to smoothe & refine but I thought an acid based body lotion would be more effective. Turns out I was wrong. Read on to know why.
What Nip+Fab Says-
Moisturising + refining body lotion perfect for flaky or oily skin. Powerful glycolic acid combines with salicylic + lactic acids to naturally exfoliate + retexture, revealing instantly smoother + brighter looking skin.
salicylic acid: aids exfoliation of surface skin cells + unclogs pores
lactic acid: stimulates exfoliation, cell renewal + sythesis of collagen. Effects help reveal younger, smoother looking skin
glycolic acid: stimulates cellular activity + collagen synthesis to help reduce the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles

My take on the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Body Cream-
The packaging of the body cream is perfect. A sturdy baby blue plastic tube with a flip-top cap. It doesn’t get better than this. Very easy to use, store & carry. I loathe unhygienic tubs! Unfortunately the good things kind of end here.
The cream is white in color with a thin, lightweight consistency & it glides on to skin without any heavy/greasy feeling at all 🙂 It sinks into skin pretty quickly & my arms feel nice & soft but the hydration doesn’t last since I have extremely dry body skin. I always have to follow it up with a richer lotion/cream.
As for the main reason for which I hunted this cream down & bought it- the ability to soothe, smoothe & refine my bumpy arms, nah it doesn’t work 🙁 I gave it a lot of time to work, more than a month & am almost through my tube but no improvement. If anything, my bumps have been acting up more :'(
The fragrance is ughh 🙁 Bitter lemony & strongly reminds me of those foul smelling Fem & Anne French hair removing cream days 😐 It lingers as well which makes it worse.
Pros of the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Body Cream:
1> Very convenient & hygienic tube packaging.
2> Lightweight, non-sticky texture sinks quickly into skin.
3> No sticky/heavy residue.
Cons of the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Body Cream:
1> Not hydrating enough.
2> Does not help soothe or calm my skin condition at all.
3> Horrid bitter lemon scent.
4> Strange list of ingredients where paraffin oil ranks 2nd while the touted acids are at the end.
5> Aggravated my sensitive skin.
Swatch of the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Body Cream-
My Rating: 2/5!
Do I recommend the Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Body Cream?
Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Body Cream claims to refine & smoothen bumpy skin & I tried it out for over a month rigorously but in utter vain. It aggravated my sensitive bumpy skin instead of solving the condition, was not hydrating enough & smells terrible. Definitely not recommended.
