Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub Review & Swatch-
Hello my pretties!
You all know how much I love a good scrub & have always been a scrub girl but have been using only chemical exfoliators for my 30s skin since a long time since they do tend to work better & that too, in a delicate way. I have the glycolic acid toner from the same transforming range & picked up the walnut scrub as well to try out.
What Ole Henriksen Says-
Transforming Walnut Scrub is a 2-in-1 lightly foaming scrub that exfoliates, cleanses and purifies pores. With a cocktail of natural wonders, including walnut powder, ginseng and chamomile extracts, it goes beyond exfoliation for a deep cleansing, pore-purifying action that diminishes dullness for a transformation you can see and feel. This indulgent scrub instantly leaves complexion fresh, invigorated with a youthful-looking Ole Glow™!

My take on the Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub-
The packaging is sleek, convenient & hygienic- it comes in a bright blue sleek tube with a white flip-top cap. Easy to use & travel with.
The scrub is gel-like in consistency dense with dark & light brown scrub granules from walnut shell & apricot seeds & is the grittiest & most effective scrub I have probably used ever. It will be definitely too much for very sensitive/dry skins & is better suited to oily/combination & preferably younger skins.
Once a week, I massage this scrub GENTLY all over damp skin (on knees & elbows too) & leave for a few minutes before scrubbing lightly to rinse it off. It rinses off quite easily & my skin feels sparkling clean, very smooth & supple. It does dry my skin out a bit since it cleans so well & I immediately spray a hydrating toner on my face followed by my day cream.
My pores look reduced & certainly my blackheads hardly show up any more since I have been using this & I wish I had found this several years before when my skin was younger & tougher to take the abrasion.
The scrub has a fresh fragrance which lingers on for quite some time after rinsing off.
Pros of the Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub:
1> Very sleek & convenient tube packaging with flip-top cap.
2> Gel-like texture with a ton of gritty exfoliating beads.
3> Scrubs skin extremely well causing noticeable reduction in pores & blackheads.
4> Skin looks & feels supple, smooth & sparkling clean.
5> Great for combination/oily skin types.
6> Fresh fragrance which lingers.
Cons of the Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub:
Too gritty for sensitive/mature skins.
Does dry out skin a bit.
Swatch of the Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub-
My Rating: 4.5/5!
Do I recommend the Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub?
Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub is the most proper, gritty scrub I have ever used. It is this texture I always craved in scrubs which could never live up to my expectations. This scrub has that texture to perfection, helps with blackheads, pores, dullness. Unfortunately as I am growing older I hardly use physical scrubs anymore, preferring the gentler chemical ones so will not be repurchasing.
