Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil Review-
Hi my pretties 😀
I have to start by saying how much I love this oil :'( And I am weeping since it is so so expensive!! Jo Malone products always are but I just had to try out the 30 ml version to try out what the big deal about their bath oil is ^_^ I picked up a couple of scents but my favorite is this Pomegranate Noir.
What Jo Malone Says-
Daring sensuality, encapsulated in scent. Ruby-rich juices of exotic pomegranate, spiked with pink pepper and laced with Casablanca lily. Warmed by temptingly-smoky guaiacwood and patchouli. Dark and enigmatic. For a sumptuous bathing treat, our Bath Oil is enriched with sweet almond, jojoba seed and avocado oils, which are natural conditioners that help soften and nourish the skin, while sublime fragrances fill the air and scent your skin.
Top Note: Pomegranate.
Heart Note: Casablanca Lily.
Base Note: Guaiacwood.
Relax and let your worries melt away as the rich scent of Jo Malone London Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil diffuses around you. Blended with nourishing oils like Jojoba, Sweet Almond and Avocado, the oil conditions and softens your skin, leaving it with a smooth and silky texture. Enjoy the intense fragrance that lingers in the air and on your skin long after your bath has ended.
Opening with a strong note of Pomegranate, this is a scent that’s daring and feminine, just like a flowing red dress in a crowded room. Dashes of Pink Pepper fizz in a swirl of spice before blending into sophisticated Casablanca Lily’s floral haze. Underneath it all, Patchouli’s woody essence mingles with Guaiacwood’s smoke to create an aroma that’s sensual and enticing.
Price: 18 GBP for 30 ml & 45 GBP for 250 ml in UK.
My take on the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil-
The Jo Malone oils all come in 2 different sizes so I got the small 30 ml one which comes in a quaint luxurious glass bottle with a glass stopper. It looks beautiful but not at all travel friendly :-/ And the big 250 ml bottle is a plastic one with a pump. So I would take none with me.
This oil is colorless, very very light and silky in texture and gets absorbed into my damp/dry skin in a jiffy 😀 I simply adore the lovely texture and the fact that it hydrates without any greasiness/stickiness and leaves behind no stain on clothes either 🙂 I have very dry body skin and it moisturizes my skin so well that I don’t have to reapply.
It is a bath oil & meant to be either used pre-bath or in the bath but I use it mostly after my shower on my damp arms & legs so that the fragrance lingers on. I love how it stays on my clothes for the entire day after my bath <3
The fragrance is just OH MY GOD! The entire Pomegranate Noir range is one of my favorites with a juicy, smoky sort of sweet pomegranate scent & it lingers on & on. I have the bath oil & body lotion in this scent & when layered, they last for a couple of days! I am planning to get the cologne from this range as well 😛
Pros of the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil:
1> Comes in different sizes so great to try out or carry.
2> Lovely lightweight silky non-sticky oil.
3> Extremely hydrating for all skin types & leaves no greasy residue.
4> Can be used before, in the bath & after bath on damp skin.
5> Beautiful juicy & dark smoky scent which lingers for entire day!
6> For all skin types!
Cons of the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil:
So so expensive!
My Rating: 4.9/5!
Do I recommend the Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil?
Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Bath Oil is so so lovely but so so expensive :'( I wish I had gotten the 250 ml size now :-/ It is lightweight, soft, silky yet so hydrating & the fragrance is simply divine- a dark, smoky yet juicy pomegranate scent which lingers on & on. Definitely recommended if you want to splurge.
